Great Breakfast Place in a historic and beautiful part of Louisville.  Very busy on Sat-Sun AM as many enjoy stopping in for breakfast and late breakfast.  Portions are enormous, enough to feed 2-3 people.  Had the vegetable  omelette, was great.  At enough to hold me till dinner and could only finish about 1/2 of all the food that was on the plate.
Review Source:Great food, excellent service and a beautiful, comfy casual atmosphere. There's something on the menu for everyone. Â We had the Reuben sandwich with fries and the curried veggies with rice. Â Both were beautiful and delicious! Â I'm very impressed with how fresh the food was and the bread basket they brought out...OMG, the best bread I've ever tasted! Â Seriously, go there for the bread, if nothing else.
Review Source:This is such a welcoming and cozy spot on Frankfort Avenue not far from downtown that it bums me out the food is always just ho-hum.
I've been here several times over the years, mostly for brunch but occasionally for dinner, and I've really never been blown away. Never been disappointed though, either. Ingredients are always fresh and yummy, service is friendly, and it's just a comfortable place to be. That being said, there's not a lot of original thinking on this menu, and I can't say that any of the entrees have ever wowed me. Â
Not a bad spot to hit during the busier times in the city. I've had a lot of luck getting groups in here for all meals around the holidays and Derby week.
