Unfortunately, the bagels just aren't that great, despite the creative and tasty sandwich ideas. The hot bagel sandwich I had this morning was steamed back to life and was soggy and uninspired. My friend's bagel didn't quite reheat from the steam and was cold in the middle. I liked the idea of fresh NYC bagels but this restaurant didn't deliver. Nancy's Bagels and Bruegger's have much fresher, higher quality bagels. Moreover, the total for the two sub-par sandwiches and two coffees was nearly $20. I won't be returning.
Review Source:Amazing bagel sandwiches. Plus beer and Mexican Coke! How can you go wrong?
My wife and I came here for breakfast after getting off an early morning flight to Louisville. There's nothing better to me than lunch for breakfast, so I got a bagel sandwich of some kind (it was so good I forgot the name of it) and she did likewise. You could actually hear eggs being whisked from the kitchen.
It looks like a perfect late-night place, too. A bagel for all occasions.
