Great views, mediocre food/drinks/service; for a Sports Bar it is not set up great for all tables to view sporting events.
AMBIENCE: Â 3.5 stars. Â The views alone are incredible--great look over the city. Â There is a nice patio (if it's not too hot outside!)
SERVICE: Â 2.5 stars. Â The restaurant was SLOW when we went, and it still was difficult to get our server's attention, the food took longer than expected, and it took awhile to get our server back to our table, get the check, etc.
FOOD: Â 3 stars. Decent upscale-sports bar type menu. Â Lots of meat and fried things, salads are not great or inspired.
ALCOHOL: Â 2 stars. Â The bar itself looks fine, but the drinks are typical sports bar stuff.
OVERALL: Â 3 stars. Â Good for quick bite after work, good for families.
I am updating my review. Â Service was on point, food was delicious, drinks were amazing, and to top it all off a 80's cover band and ,y friends and I danced the night away!
Loved the food and the ambiance. Â This place is great and non threatening which I like. Â Super pleased plus we just found out they have 70's night super stoked to check that out as well.
Awesome, awesome, awesome!
Hubby and I love Skybox! The live music, the crowd, the waitresses-I have never had a problem with the place. The crowd is usually a variety of people-mostly in their 30's, 40's and on. It's a non-judgmental kind of place, where everyone comes to have fun, not to show off how hipster they are. People are actually dancing and enjoying themselves, which is the kind of atmosphere my husband and I look for in a bar. The drinks are a little pricey-but I don't mind paying extra.
We only ate here once and it was delicious but we really don't come for the food.
