Don't expect a massive crowd - the place is HUGE and never looks full. You CAN, however, expect a decent turnout depending on the band.
Pros:
-Live music! Need I say more?
-The people who do come out are always friendly and engaging
-No one is laughing at you for busting out your drunkest version of the lawnmower
-Decently priced drinks, great bartenders
-Minimal cover (sometimes none)
-Pool tables, beirut tables, dance floor - basically, you're guaranteed to find something you like to do
-The doorman! Jerry! He's the BOSS!
-Free covered parking
Cons:
-Can sometimes feel a little empty (until you have a few drinks in you)
-Slightly smelly
-Cash only?
I've already been twice and intend to go back for my birthday - I've never left disappointed. I always meet fun and interesting people, hear decent music, and really enjoy myself. However, if you're the quiet, withdrawn type, this is probably not your scene.
Hooray for SSMH!
Ok, First off i just want to say that I had the best bartender I have ever had in my life here. So sweet and friendly!
Beers are very VERY reasonably priced. I don't know about their missed drinks though.
There's a part of the bar the smells a little funky, I heard someone explain that it was because it's below sea level but it was too close to the men's room to know if that statement was right.
Who ever was announcing the bands needs to chill out. They kind of made fun of a friend of mine and it wasn't cool. I know it was all in good fun but still made things awkward.
I would love to come back here again.
