Chill bar, we met an awesome and sweet young lady named Kylie that offered to turn on the Lakers game for us (I'm from Los Angeles and didn't want to miss a game). Service was good, atmosphere was decent and not rowdy (plus for us), and the food is what you'd expect from a sports bar.
Review Source:I eat at the sports about once a week and i can't believe some of the bad reviews posted! I have never experienced rude waitresses quite the opposite. I'm treated like a queen. The burgers are awesome! Â I would recommend this place to anyone wanted great food cold beer and a friendly local environment! See ya at the sportspage!
Review Source:Felt like something more standard American food so visited this sports bar in Kihei. The food was not very good and slighlty over-priced. The place looks like it is severly overdue for some renovation. There must be better choices in Kihei.
The only plus was that the staff were fairly friendly.
Great place to watch sports if you can't miss your favorite team's big game. Â There are a ton of TVs, and the server happily put whatever TV we were nearest to the game we wanted to see.
The folks in the bar were friendly, and there were cheers and jeers flying in a friendly fashion back and forth between the games. Â
Beers are reasonable, and food is decent. Â They open early (7am) on the weekends and serve breakfast. Â They also have free wifi!
Careful of the parking lot: Â I'm not sure if they enforce it or not, but all spots in the immediate vicinity say "15 minutes only". Â On the weekends, park on the street as there are plenty of spaces that don't have time limits.
I only went to The Sports Page because of the special on http://pinchit.com. Â You spend $10 and get $20 to use towards your food bill. Â I placed an order over the phone and was told it would take 10 mins. Â I got there 15 mins later and order was still not ready. Â I waited for another 15 mins before getting my food. Â Bill came out to $23. Â I handed over my $20 coupon and the worker said, "$13" Â After going back and forth with her that I owed $3, not $13, she finally gave in (this is after everyone around us was staring!!!!). Â She told me she had never seen the pinchit deal before (even though 40 of them were purchased). Â I would hope that if your establishment is participating in pinchit, your workers know what do do......and I would also hope they can do simple math. Â $23-$20 = $3, right? Â
On to the food part of it. Â I had a mushroom burger with swiss cheese and onion rings. Â Burger was extremely dry, but not horrible. Â Just ok. Â Husband had a cheeseburger with fries. Â Also just ok. Â
The atmosphere isn't great either. Â Lots of guys walking around and drinking. Â Restaurant is dark and not inviting. Â Staff not friendly at all. Â Definitely not going back here.
Watched the first game of the NFL season here before we took off. Don't go here for food people please (and meatloaf?? really? so funny).
I had a veggie burger/husband had a hot dog & fries. All standard fare pub food. Nothing to write home about, but also not less than what you'd expect.
$2 Bud/Bud light drafts/$4 hefs, $3 (or $2.50) well drinks. Um, yes please. Â Service is slow but nice. Definitely a fine/cheap place to watch a game.
I'd give Sports Page 0 stars if I could.
The food & service absolutely sucks. My wife & friends make jokes about how bad it is. We were visiting Maui and offered a *free* dinner to a local acquaintance of mine but he turned it down when I mentioned Sports Page. I didn't catch the clue and since we had a coupon we went there anyway.
It is known as a "sports pub" but since it has "Grill" in the name, you'd expect decent food (most sports pubs still have decent food). I wanted my wife to experience good meat loaf so we both ordered some. Mine came with gravy and her's with turkey gravy. How could you screw up meat loaf but Sports Page did. Neither of us finished our food and we went somewhere else after that. Service was also slow.
I've been to a couple of bad places but Sports Page is by far the worst.
Great place to play pool, hang out or watch sports. I went during lunch time so there was really nobody in there. They turned all the TV's to a soccer game just for me which was really great. The staff was really nice, and the food is what you expect from a sports bar. The place is a dive, which is why i like it.
Review Source:Great dive bar with friendly bartenders and decent food. Â They also had a Wii, Mega-Touch games and pool tables. Â
The local crowd can also be a great cast of characters...some of which appear to have just stepped out of a Whitesnake video shoot. Â If you like to wear animal prints and tease out your hair this is the place for you. Â
As for person complaining about the hockey game not being on all I can say is who gives a crap about hockey? Â Especially when you're in Maui. Â Go back to San Jose D bag.
Tried to go here to watch Game 3 of the Sharks/Predators Stanley Cup Finals series. Â They had a bunch of tvs, but said they wouldn't use any of the satellites up for the hockey game, even though there were half a dozen Sharks fans in the house. Â They had to show the various baseball games - real important in the third week of April.
