  Always love a late night trip to steak n shake. Perfect food after a night out. Better to go in, because the drive thru is about as slow as a passing glacier.

  Why don't we have these in Hawaii?  We NEED these in Hawaii!  They make fast burgers right.  
  
  The ambiance is nice, the burgers and shakes are good, the price is awesome.  I know the previous reviews say that price is a little high, but I'm used to $10-$12 burgers (without fries, so sad!) so I thought I was getting an uber steal.  
  
  I forgot what it was called, but I had a burger with onions and barbeque sauce.  MMMmmmMMmm! Anything with barbeque sauce, onions, and/or bacon has my heart!  You can also get limeades and cherry coke, among other things.
  
  Super bonus points that the manager came to check on us.  That means he was super confident in his product and his staff.  Kudos, Steak N Shake, kudos.

  Food: 4/5 The Steakburgers are alright, the French fries are eh, but the milkshakes are awesome! Though slightly expensive, $4 something for a milkshake is kinda ridiculous to me

  The only complaint that I have with Steak N Shake is the fact that they usually keep the restaurant at below freezing temperatures, so I am always cold. And this is coming from a girl who will wear flip-flops the second March rolls around.
  
  Other than the temperature, I love taking a trip to SNS because the food is of really good quality, along with everything else. The prices are a bit high, considering how casual of a place it is, but I suppose I can let it slide, being that the food itself is so good.
  
  They have tons of different "Premium Steak-burgers" to choose from, but I usually stick with the classic platter (with a Double Steak-burger), which comes with two sides of your choosing. You can choose from such things as a bowl of chili, baked beans, salad, french fries, cottage cheese, and a bowl of soup, among others that I am probably forgetting. The soup changes daily, which is a good thing, since it means that I frequently luck into a day when Cream of Broccoli soup is on the menu. Yum, yum! The chili is really good too.
  
  My mom usually gets a 5-Way Chili, or a Club Sandwich, both of which she says are delicious. So with all this good food, you might think that you will have no room for dessert, but trust me, the second you taste one of their Chocolate Milkshakes you will make room. There are multiple different flavors to choose from, as well as the option of being able to have a "Side by Side" milkshake (mixes two of your favorite flavors, side by side), but for me, the classics are always the best.
