Stefani's

I've been a fan of this restaurant for a number of years now.   I love taking clients as well as joining friends here for lunch or dinner.   I'm not a meat eater so I order from the huge choices of seafood or salads.  I love this restaurant because I can have a conversation with other people at the table and hear them and not have to raise
my voice to be hear.   This is perfect for business lunches and for meeting friends
after a long day at the office.   I almost always ask for a dinner entree menu when I'm dining at lunch so I can select one of the dinner servings of seafood.  The salmon
or the Chilean Sea Bass is always cooked perfectly.     I also love that the waitstaff almost always doesn't interrupt me when I'm having a business lunch.   They give us some space to talk without breaking into our conversation every 5 minutes to check on what we want to order.  And the food is prompt and exactly as ordered.   I give the food 5 stars but I have had a few support staff that tend to inquire about clearing the dishes too soon.   A little pet peeve of mine about wait staff that clears plates before everyone has completed their dining for that course.  It feels like I'm being rushed and I don't like it.   If I could give them a 4-1/2 star I would.

My work friends and I adore Stefani's. For an Italian girl I can tell you their food is DELICIOUS, their wines are multiple and varied and their service is fantastic! You cannot go wrong with Stefani's for terrific Italian food. I love the Chicken Montecarlo and all of their specials have been wonderful, they have a cheese gnocchi that is great and their fish is superb. They have a beef brisket that melts in your mouth and their lasagne is another dish that is absolutely fantastic.

If you are in the Michigan Avenue area don't let the restaurant's location allow you to miss a great experience. Outdoor dining in fair weather (with white tablecloths) cannot be beat, it's a very nice atmosphere, accommodating and friendly. The manager is wonderful too!

And every once in a while you just might get a glimpse of Mr. Stefani outside on his cell phone... he's a pretty cool looking Dude, I have to say.
