Had dinner here for a wedding rehearsal dinner, which was a pre-set menu.  Staff was very attentive and the food was on par with what my family members holding the party would expect, "Good".

I love this place! Everything I have had is so, so  delicious! BUT, do not be fooled, make reservations at least a week in advance, it's popular, and the food is why. As any of the better restaurants on LBI, you need to make a reservation, or forget it!

Myself and my girlfriend heard great things, so we decided to give it a go. We stopped in and while we didn;t have a reservation, and the place looked rather busy, we failed to even be acknowledged. We stood there just begging for, at the VERY least, eye contact from the hostess. A simple "I'm sorry, we'll be right with you" would have been fine, because we were more than happy to wait it out. Instead we were ignored, so we left. My review is based solely on service, since we never got to try the food.

The only reason this doesn't get 5 stars is because...I will explain later.

Definitely need reservations on the weekend.  The menu has good variety although I wish they had whole wheat pasta and 1/2 portions.

We split the special Eggplant Napoleon, which was layered to perfection.  Salads come with all entrees, and if you switch out the regular dinner salad for one on the menu, it's huge.  I got a salad with gorgonzola and pecans on it.  It was tremendous.

I ordered a pasta dish--can't remember what it was called, but they left off the black olives.  The sauce was divine, but a lot of pasta went to waste.  BF got the Chesapeake Steak, which was a special.  The meat was cooked perfectly and the blue-cheese mashed potatoes and onion rings were great.  We enjoyed our meal.

Later that night, it was a different story.  BF's meal was so rich that he got sick in the middle of the night.  I was fine, since I had a lighter portion, but it was still a lot of food.  I would return, but I'm not sure if he will.

Way over priced, over cooked pasta, clam chowder so salty as to be almost in edible, service marginal at best. Without appetizer, no alcohol and one dessert bill was $135 for four.

Great byo on the island... Been going here with my family for years.  Definately need to make reservations on weekends.   This is one of the nicer restaurants in beach haven while still affordable.

The best clam chowder, seafood bisque and ahi tuna on the island, maybe the best on NJ/NY.

Service and atmosphere were nice at this Italian/seafood restaurant.
While my mahi mahi special was not very good, everyone else in our group loved the food.  I would definitely return!
