Subway

F this place, used to get my b fast sandwich here, and they are sposed to open at 7, well I'm there at 7, nothing. Then I see a guy in there sloooooowly putting out veggies & other stuff he should have been doing a while ago.

Then its 7:05.

Another slow movement and he's taking.off his sweatshirt & putting on his work shirt. Did I mention I was standing outside this whole time? I am. Standing outside, and he clearly sees me, I think he would open the door and let me in right? Naw. He holds up the single index finger, indicating "one minute" it may as well have been the middle. This was also in the colder months, January or Feb.

And now its 7:10.

Dude, I need to be in at 730am absolute latest. Pounding on the door, yeah he nods and runs away. Another lady customer comes up and waits with me. "Don't they open at 7?" I dunno, I thought so. We chat about how or we should contact the franchise owner.

Well its 7:18 & I am going to be late, I tell the lady, I'm off to dunkin donuts down the street. She says she is doing the same. I get in my car, "Can I get a ride?" Normally I don't give strangers a ride, but screw it. I'm just going down the street. We get to dunkin & guess what? They're open. And the lady didn't kill me.

Situated in a small middle of the block joint. I mean subways are a good thing around here. Sometimes though you will find the extra coupon and of course they will honor them here. The place is very clean and ample enough space for a crowd, so don't worry about it being small.

Give the place a try. The staff is really friendly and know how to treat customers. They are patient if you don't know what you want and don't ever rush you even when they do have a crowd. But somehow they get to push the line through without anyone having a fit.

And for the big 500 I bring you the review of.....drum roll please.......A COOKIE!!  

A *cookie*?? Yes, a cookie.  Aaaand a cookie from Subway no less!

I basically dislike Subway's sandwiches and imo they are the worst of any chain sam shop.  But this review has nothing to do with that and everything to do with their Chocolate Chip cookie.  Apart from my own Mother's, this is the best chocolate chip cookie out there.  It's actually a five star cookie but since my Mom's is better, I can't really say as good as it gets.
