Wow. Can't really complain about franchise food which is always the same, and you know what you're getting, but this place failed, and needs to be yelled at. Never have I seen such holding back when making their subs at a Subway franchise. Six sliced pickles on a foot long. SIX....pickles... on a footlong Veggie Sub. It was hard to find where the bread stopped and the actual subsistence began. Never have I had such a lack of ingredients on a sandwich as I had here the other day. Only reasoning for the lack of ingredients has to have been they were waiting on a delivery and cutting corners where they could. Just bad...and sad...
Review Source:It's not often that I'd review a fast food chain like this. Â By definition, the service and food you get at a place like this is supposed to be mediocre and consistent across locations. Â So what's the point of reviewing a place when everyone already knows what to expect?
Well, that is the point. Â When you don't get what you expect. Â And it's not always a place that delivers less than the expectation; there is the occasional place that over-delivers. Â Fortunately, I've experienced that and written a review for one of those as well. Â However, this Subway is not one of those.
Two major "flaws" at this location. Â So I go there today and order a veggie delight. Â I asked for the shredded cheddar cheese... they're out. Â Then I asked for the pepper jack... they're out. Â Later for the dressings, I asked for Caesar... again no dice. Â I mean, these seem to be basic ingredients, right? Â And it's not like I was there late at night or something. Â This is 12:30pm, in the middle of the heart of lunchtime. Â On the other hand, it's not like this place was so crowded for lunch that they ran out. Â I was the only person in line when I got there. Â Is it so hard to stock the ingredients you're supposed to stock? Â Especially given how stingy this place is on ingredients.
Which brings me to my second problem with these guys. Â So I'm getting this veggie delight, which comes with pretty much just cheese and guess what... veggies! Â So this guy making my sandwich is literally counting every piece of veggie he puts on my sandwich. Â It was like 5 black olives in my foot long sandwich, 4 pieces of green pepper, 4 slices of pickle. Â Ridiculous... Â I'm sure it wasn't just this sandwich guy, cuz this is the second or third time I've been and one thing they're consistent at is being stingy. Â Point being, it's not just the sandwich guy, I'm sure the owner must have given everyone specific instructions on how to be gyps. Â Do owners of such places really think they're going to boost profits by putting 3 less olives and 3 less pieces of pepper? Â Definitely not at the expense of an annoyed customer.
This Subway has definitely lost me as a customer, and if the above bothers you then I urge you to skip out on this location as well. Â I'm sure there's a nearby location that knows how to execute on the basics.
