Authentic Thai cuisine prepared by people who really have a passion for authenticity. Ordered pad see eu with beef (crispy beef),  panang curry with chicken (more paste and less soup as it should be), and beef with garlic & broccoli (asparagus was thrown in, too). Lunch came with delicious freshly cooked roll (with glass noodles). The owners gave us free desert of pineapple upside down cake--she said she baked a cake daily for dessert.

I just went here recently with friendson a cool winter day and am so happy to have found such a great place for what feels like homemade Thai food. I had the Panang Curry. It was very tasty and spicy. I ordered it medium spicy and that was plenty hot for me. It was served with a mound of rice in the shape of a heart. Two of my friends ordered the Red Curry that was actually kind of yellowish in color but also quite spicy (ordered hot). The fourth person ordered the Drunken Noodles which she orders every time. I tasted all these and now am looking forward to ordering these dishes myself in the future. Yes, the location is not great but just go there and know that the food is the main draw not the location.

Crazily enough, this place has the best Pad Thai I've ever had. I can't say about anything else, but this place is the bomb if you want a good Pad Thai.

This Thai restaurant is under new management and the ambiance has been upgraded... Generous and tasty portions.  Thai food should be cooked by Thai people and this place delivers.  Definitely going back to check out the pad thai & pad se yew.

We were looking for a good thai restauraunt on yelp and saw a good review for Sue of Siam. We are so glad that we gave it a try. As soon as you walk in you are greeted with smiles and a warm atmosphere. The food is fresh and the sauces are delicious. The staff remembers you and the owners are super friendly. We can not say enough good things about the food! If you love authentic thai you must try this place!
One of our favorite memories is when we had a craving for thai food but the bronco game was on. They turned on the game for us and gave us some tea, that was not asked for but really appreciated on a cold day. They watched the game and rooted with us, and the broncos won so it was especially nice.
The owners are also looking into helping with the environment. We brought our own containers for take out and they were happy to fill them and talk to us about their own ideas for take out containers. They also mentioned they might go organic, which we would love!
You can see into the kitchen and everything is very clean. You can tell that the owners and employees really care about their restaurant.
This restaraunt has become one of our favorite places and we feel like it is walking into our own Cheers whenever we go.

Three and a half stars for this little Thai place, kind of out of the way unless you know you're looking for it.  It also goes by the name Ban-Thai, so you might see that.  I've tried four different things here and been pretty pleased with each of them.  Obviously they have the usual noodle dishes that I enjoy, as well as curries and stir-fries.  It's a pretty standard menu, though they do have a couple of more unusual dishes.  Everything is offered at mild/medium/hot spice levels, so you can pick that for any dish, which for Thai food is generally a good idea.  You get an egg roll with your lunch, though I preferred the soup you used to get a while ago.  They're closed on Mondays, and only open until 8 pm all other days, but that's ok since it's a lunch place pretty close to my work.  Service is friendly, though it's a small kitchen, so if you are very short on time this might not be the best pick.  But if you are in the mood for Thai and are in the area, you'll find this to be a good place.

My husband and I went to this place with a gift certificate... when we got there, they told us the certificate was expired. The certificate was $25 off of a $35 purchase, valid for dine-in only, and clearly said DOES NOT EXPIRE. I even got home and called <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a> (where I got the certificate from, and they informed me that Sue of Siam was no longer in their program, but are still required to honor the certificate THAT I HAD ALREADY PAID FOR). The man who served us was nice enough, but the woman in the kitchen (who I assume is the owner) was yelling up a storm when we tried to explain to her that the certificate clearly says it doesn't expire. It was awful service... the food isn't expensive, but I refuse to go back based on principle alone. It's as if they lured us to the restuarant with hope of using our gift certificate, and then denied us what we had already paid for.

    Pros:
    - Delicious Thai Iced Tea

    Cons:
    - Horrendous service
    - Misleading, and dishonest
    - Looks like it's in a shadier area of town, and the restaurant itself isn't very "nice"... definitely not date-worthy... and I definitely wouldn't wear anything fancy-- you'll stick out like a sore thumb.
    - I can't really comment on the food since we didn't get to eat it, but I certainly wouldn't go back there.

DO NOT TAKE YOUR RESTAURANT.COM CERTIFICATE TO THIS PLACE!

I came here with a friend who has been raving about this place for weeks.

I ordered the spring rolls that, according to the menu, had rice noodles and vegetables with a peanut sauce.  I asked if they had cilantro in them.  'I don't think so,' she said.

'Okay,' I replied, 'Because I hate cilantro.'

They came out, and not only were they packed with cilantro, they had chicken and shrimp in them, which are not vegetables.  I picked the wads of cilantro out and begrudgingly ate my two pieces as the waitress watched and apologised.  I don't eat chicken but find wasting it even more repulsive.  If there is anything besides noodles and veggies in it, the menu should say so.

For the main dish, we both ordered the drunken noodles--his with shrimp and mine with seafood.  They came out, and the portions were huge!  But as soon as I dug in, I noticed that the 'noodles' were just crumbled pieces of noodle.  The longest piece I had was just over an inch long, and they were super duper greasy.  The seafood was overcooked and, to my horror, there was a piece of hair wound around a piece of my squid.

I had eaten about half a dozen bites by the time I found the hair, but when my replacement order was brought out (just as my friend was finishing up his meal), it was about half the size of the original order.

We were never asked if we wanted dessert.  I had been considering the mango and sticky rice, but my appetite was gone by then.  We had to go grab the check ourselves.

I took over half of my half-order home because the whole experience made me not want to eat anymore.  I never ended up finishing it.

I am giving this place two stars only because it makes my dear friend, whose daily cuisine consists of canned refried beans, happy.  And because my bottom-heavy review graph was starting to give me a complex.

Well, the place has been sold yet again, and the new owner has added Ban Thai to the name and completely revamped the menu. Kind of a tradeoff-- lunches aren't quite as cheap, but the menu is much more extensive, and they explicitly offer delivery within a 3-mile radius. Also, they use the Thai eggplant in the green curry. Yum! Bottom line: still good food, still nice folks, still inexpensive.

So, yet another boring Friday at school where we sit in class for a solid 4 hours and basically starve ourselves to death while the drone of lecturing continues.
It seems to be the situation that when we have a good 1 1/2-2 hours, the prevailing attitude in my class is to head over to BJ's Brewery for some supposedly delicious comestibles. Luckily, the last couple of times they've been over there, my friends haven't had the best of experience w/service.
During lunch, I Yelped the local area and came upon Sue of Siam. As luck has it, one of my friends frequents the place on the weekends and recommended it. It is definitely in a difficult to find location and is a small restaurant.

We were greeted by a nice old man and were given the lunch menu - I opted for the Kao Pad Kee Mao w/tofu - essentially jasmine rice sauteed w/eggs, bell peppers, onions, basil, and spicy chili. It wasn't as spicy as I like, but that's what the lazy Susan w/all the wonderful spices are for. The dish was great and the portion size was a good size for lunch. The lunch also came w/a cup of Tom Yum soup which was okay. I would have rather had the Tom Kha soup which has a coconut broth.

It was nice to see, I'm guessing it was her, Suni cooking the food in the back as everyone has said before. I will definitely be coming back to this charming little restaurant.

Boy, I always struggle with giving a 3 star rating.  I'm a love it or hate it kind of gal -- but trusting Yelp's "A-OK" definition I think 3 stars works here.
I had my second lunch at Sue of Siam today.  The food is flavorful and the menu matches many of the more traditional Thai places I've seen around town (more than just Pad Thai and a curry).  But I still feel like it's missing a little something, I can't quite put my finger on it, but here are two possibilities:
Portion Size - The first trip I ordered from the lunch special menu and left feeling still a little hungry.  Today, I opted for a standard entree (which is one buck more) but it seemed like the portion size was still the same.  That's not to say I expect enough food for two people and to walk away feeling stuffed, but I do expect feel satisfied at the end of the meal.
The Depth of Flavor - no doubt the curry and the sauce on the Pad Ka Pow are flavorful.  Just the right spice and good enough that I'm happy to eat it like a soup.  But I'm missing the flavor of the individual ingredients -- the Thai Basil, the beef, the onion, etc.  It almost seems like the individual ingredients are steamed or boiled and then the sauce is added to provide the flavor.  This is different from some of my favorite Thai where you feel like the meat and vegetables are adequately seasoned to enjoy with or without the sauce.

And again, this is why I don't like giving a 3-star rating -- I've given some things to be wary of, but I wouldn't tell someone to avoid this restaurant.  I will continue to visit this place for lunch on occasion, but I can't say I'm counting the days.   All in all, I guess I can safely call my visits "A-Ok"

I didn't think we would find a Thai restaurant in Aurora but after browsing the Internet we found this place. Although, It was snowing like crazy we were craving Thai food. I'm glad we found this hidden restaurant. The tom yum kai soup was really good. The pat-thai was also good. This is a cute little mom & pop restaurant. Give them a try... They are friendly people. The man even cleared the snow off the side walk for us.

Here is a great little gem off the beaten path in Aurora.  Fortunately, it is located next door to Lek's Asian Market (<a href="http://www.yelp.com/biz/leks-asian-market-aurora">http://www.yelp.com/biz/…</a>), creating a little Thai synergy.  We stopped by this joint on our way to Lek's and thoroughly enjoyed our lunch.  The papaya salad (som tum) was a hit, while the drunken noodles were only a "pretty good."  What sets sue apart is the availability of a thai condiments, your very own "lazy susan" filled with crushed chillies, ground peanuts, chilli paste, siracha (aka-hot cock sauce), chillies in vinegar, and, of course, fish sauce.

A friend of mine discovered this gem which is a family owned and run traditional Thai restaurant. It's off the main drag so it' s not heavily visited which means you will receive amazing personalized service by Suni and her husband and will be prepared beautiful tasty dishes by Sue, the chef. They serve traditional Thai iced tea and Thai iced coffee which are special treats I like to indulge in.

Last time I was in Suni asked if we had ever had the ground papaya salad and when my tablemates and I all said "No" she gave us the one Sue had prepared for her lunch and insisted we all sample some! Definitely a wonderful experience in hospitality and cuisine.

Stop in and try the Drunken Noodles, Tom Kha Gai, Pad Thai, or Papaya Salad. Tell Suni I said SAWATDI KA!
