    FYI
... the real name of this place is Mok Maru Jong as noted by Demian C.

But to note, the sign visible from Western says Sul Jip in English. :) And that's what I know it as (being non Korean and not able to read or speak Korean). You can park in the back and enter from the back. There is also a front entrance to the left of Piper's restaurant.

Been here twice mainly for late night eats and no drinks. It's a sports bar/beer garden style with lots of alki on the menu and lot of drinking food, Korean and American style stuff. Ordered the army soup and the spicy chicken wings. Both are pretty good. The army soup  is a good size and has a lot of stuff in it. I do wish they would include more ramen noodle but that's ok.

The chicken wings are decent with a nice crisp skin and sweet sauce. It's not overly dressed, and comes with some pretty good fries, cabbage salad, and pickled turnip. All really good and complement each other.

Service is only so-so. Maybe it's b/c we weren't ordering any drinks? idk... my expectations aren't esp high in regards to service and late night eats but I did notice it.  Overall it's decent for food and drinks and from my experience, without any specific sports game on, the place has plenty of seating but not boringly quite.

To the guy who started this: it's not called Sul Jip and it shouldn't be listed under Chinese. The place is Mok Maru Jong.

I'm not sure how Sul Jip has never had a yelp page before, or if people have just checked into Pipers, but since they are separate businesses here it goes.  I've been to Sul Jip with friends a few times now.  This is a pretty solid bar for drinking, beer pong, and Lakers games.  It's one of the places in k-town that can fit groups of 6+ without craming you into tight corners.

Staff here is pretty attentive and they have a good stock of different brews here.  They serve beer by the pitcher or glass here and prices are pretty reasonable.  They also set out these pretzel sticks for you to snack on which are very addictive.

Other bonuses, large parking lot in the back, specials during Lakers games, beer pong and decks of cards.  Only cons is some patrons smoke here.
