Best bloody mary ever! The only reason why I would go there

My husband and I tried this place for the first time. We had considered going in many times before, but the considerably large men smoking outside detoured us in the past. This time was different. We arrived at 4:45pm on a Thursday and there was a small crowd of people in the back drinking and playing darts. This is not the place to go if you want to feel fancy. The drinks are just fine and affordable.  The bartender was a sweetheart. The early evening crowd is cool - - a little sloppy, but entertaining. After a certain hour though, the crowd does become a tad thugga-ruggish. YIKES. I left my husband at the bar to use the restroom and on my way back I was greeted by a wall unsavory guys. I felt unsafe. That's no bueno. I'd go back, but NEVER after 6pm.

After reading the reviews I was a little weary when it came to this spot. I was unsure of what kind of gang affiliated madness that I might stumble upon, but I was pleasantly surprised. I have been to this spot on a few occasions and have seen different crowds each time I have come. There is the sports crowd and then the late night younger crowd. Despite the small size people are calm and look to just want to have a good time. The DJ at night has a real good mix and keeps the music flowing with deep base and great sounds, always a beat you can dance to. To bad the don't have a real dance floor. The security is upbeat and doesn't act uptight. The people here are surely the folks that you would sit on a porch with at a Saturday barbecue and drink with.
