The Spot

I have fond memories of my one visit to The Spot.  The selling feature would be the bulletin board plastered with faded Polaroid pictures featuring patrons of the good, the bad, and the ugly varieties.  When asked how to get one's picture on the board, the bartender smiled her toothless smile and said, "well, most of them are dead."  I give this bar an A+ for quality...and a triple 'x' in dirty.

Great place for the price! Comfortable and I always enjoy my time here.

One of a slew of dive bars on Pacific ave. in San Pedro. With pool tables,a juke box, a patio to smoke on, and cheap drinks this place is pretty much your standard "locals only vibe" dive bar. The thing that made this place stand out for me(not in a good way) was the bathrooms. You apparently have to be "buzzed" in by the bartender to unlock the door. When I tried to get buzzed in I could hear "snorting" noises coming from inside the bathroom and some morons were holding the door shut from the inside. Lame!!! I don't give a shit what your dumb ass is doing in there I just gotta take care of my own "personal business"! I literally had to go outside and "water the tree". After the same thing happened again that night I had had enough of this place. Being one who prefers a dive bar over a club any day of the week I thought I would like this place but Needless to say this joint will never be my "spot". Dueces tweakers!!!
