Who would have thought mall sushi could be good?
This Battlefield Mall Food Court place, named simply "Sushi" (see uploaded picture), is not a full-service sushi place; by and large they just have a selection of rolls. And, of course, being located in the food court, they don't serve alcoholic beverages. But they sell full-size (12 piece) sushi rolls for $6 each, which is not a bad price at all--and as I found out last week, two rolls was just slightly more than I could finish. One roll should make a more than ample meal for anyone.
I came in near closing time and ordered two rolls--their "spicy" roll and their unagi (eel) roll. They had one of their spicy rolls pre-made in a to-go pack and let me get started on that while they made up an unagi roll in the back. (Photos attached.) The sushi was fresh and well-made and I enjoyed it immensely.
It's nice to know I don't have to go to a fancy restaurant and pay top-dollar price for sushi now that there's a location in the Food Court. I only wish it were not located at the opposite end of the mall from the bus stop!
