Tara Thai & Japanese Cuisine

Came from Virginia on trip and really looking forward to going back to Tara Thai
Was so disappointed they were CLOSED! No sign nothing......just locked up tight!..

Must be more of a take-out place because it was EMPTY. So don't expect a high end experience. However, the waitress/server was very sweet and the food was great. Fast and fresh. Combination Pad Thai was full of huge mussels, calamari, shrimp and the massaman curry was outstanding.  Happy hour $4 apps never hurt either!

Ordered carry out from here. Started out with Tom Yum soup. I only ate a few bites, it was the worst soup I've ever had. I'm not exactly sure what was in it but it tasted like potpourri. After I finally got that nasty taste out of my mouth I moved onto my Chicken Kee Mao. There was barely any sauce and the chicken was extremely overcooked and dried out. I see plenty of good reviews for this place. I'm not sure if I went on a off night, I usually give places a second chance but this was the worst meal I've had in years. I won't be back.
