We happened upon Kaluz and had a wonderful meal! We sat outside, despite it being COLD for South Florida, and ordered the ceviche, filet with baked potato and caesar salad. The ceviche was very good (even though I don't like salmon) and the filet was AMAZING. Great service, ambiance, and food! We'll definitely be back.
Review Source:"This is just a preliminary review as I had only light bites. I had a flat bread for an appetizer. It was delightful...equal or better than the flat breads at Seasons 52, which are terrific.
For my entree, I had the Thai noodles and shrimp salad. Â Really terrific, especially if you like things a little spicy. Â Portion size is good. Â Wine prices are unnecessarily high. Â Cheapest glass of wine is $10
Service is excellent.  Staff has had some good training.  Forgot to mention the place is beautiful with great  water views.  And high ceilings keeps the noise level down
Since starting this review I was back again. Â Everything is still good, but the word is now out and it is getting very crowded. Â Parties of four cannot make reservations and the wait time can be lengthy.
They also need to handle the valet parking better. If a dozen cars are in line waiting to get in, while you are leaving, the valet has to put your car at that back of the same line for you to leave :( Â That needs to be fixed pronto.
Nice place, average food and service. Â They spent some money on the place...they should spend some more on better cooks/menu and training for their staff. Â Food was average. Â Had tuna tartare..it was very bland. The lamb chop dinner was so so..for the price it needed to be great. Â Our waiter would disappear for a little bit sometimes and he also screwed up my order(wrong side and double charged) , at least he was nice. Â My girlfriend had lamb burger and that was excellent. Â Another person had the filet and that was good but again for the price it wasnt good enough. Â I've had better food at Carrabas. Â Id rather go across the water to benihana, at least you know what you're going to get.
