The staff and people who go here are rude if you're not one of their "regulars" or a "townie" of Warwick. Never would I ever choose to go here, but have ended up being with a group here a few times. If you like to wear sunglasses inside at night and gel your hair while singing terrible karaoke, then this is your place! If not, then there's plenty of other places to go.
Review Source:There are so many places to grab some food and a beer surrounding TF Green and I feel like I really messed up after going to Tavern 12 instead of one of the many other options. I can see the place for what it is; with all the massive amounts of tvs it's probably a great place to pack in, shoulder to shoulder, to watch a game. The prices are decent and despite most of the beer offerings being of the Bud/Coors variety, there were a couple of decent options. But damn, was that food bad.
The pot stickers were crispy and stale rather than tasting like dumplings. The mozzarella sticks were taken from the freezer and then topped with the cheap parmesan cheese than you get off the shelf at the grocery store. The burgers, ordered medium, were charred to the point of inedibleness.
If the power went out at my place and there was a big game on tv that I couldn't watch then I could see myself heading back to Tavern 12, but I'd make sure that I ate at somewhere decent first.
Docking another star because over a year after my last review, the owner or an employee of Tavern 12 has taken it upon himself to harass Yelpers who gave less than positive reviews. Considering that this person also bragged about ignoring customers, I don't see a need to ever go back there and am glad that my group has found a better place to enjoy football games.
Review Source:Karaoke nights get a little crazy. It's small, crowded and really hard to get a drink. Most of the tables get taken pretty quickly which tends to leave you standing and mostly in the way of others trying to navigate the bar which can be a pain shuffling back and forth constantly.
Music is loud and impossible to hold  a conversation. If that is your thing you have come to the right place. Myself, I like a place where I can sit down at a booth or something and share a pitcher with some friends with some conversation.
So, for some it might be awesome. For me, ehhh, not quite.
They have good specials for games and what not, a decent selection of taps to choose from, and from what I can remember the food was okay, but damn... the patrons this place attracts are awful.
If you enjoy being bumped into by meatheads with gelled hair who don't have the decency to say sorry, this is the place for you.
Not really a fan of this establishment. The place has a very different feel depending on when you go. Some nights (like Wednesday) are super busy and you will be standing person to person and not be able to walk. Other nights is its D E A D inside. Oh but wait, just b/c there is no one in there does not mean you are going to get quick quick service.
We went Saturday night, early even for the 25 cent wing special and a few pitchers of beer. The waitress had no personality and no real skill other than writing down the order and brining it out. Not personable at all. The food came out quick and they even got a refill on our pitcher pretty fast but when we were done we waited, and waited, and waited.
I had to walk up to the bar to ask for our check and even after all of that our waitress didn't even bring it some other server did.
Drinks are so so and they are not cheap.
Karaoke there is awful.
It gets super loud so do not go here if you want to unwind or have a conversation with friends. Â
If you are really in a bind and need to stay local to Warwick just hit Dave's next door and have a much better night.
