TCB is undergoing a little bit of transformation. As always, it's a great place for a couple of beers and a rack or two of pool. In addition to that though it's also a great place for a couple of games of darts.

The Beer selection is pretty much standard for a dart/pool bar: Bud, Bud Lite, Sam, Sam Seasonal. In addition to that TCB also carried Sierra Nevada Torpedo IPA in bottles or cans. Jay and Shannon are pretty knowledgeable about beer too.

Great place to hang out, shoot some pool, play darts...

Beers and drinks are cheap and the have nightly drink and shot specials. (Usually dollar SoCo shots or something of the sort)

They have good happy hours and fun karaoke nights that draw in big crowds. All in all a really great place to escape the typical bar scene.

I am privileged to be the first to add this establishment to Yelp.  I can think of bars that are cooler, bars that have a better beer selection, bars that are more charming, bars that have better food....But as far as a good place where you can hang out with your friends, knock back a few beers and play some pool, and not get ripped off in the process... this place is perfect for me.  It's like that comfortable pair of sweats that you want to wear when you're relaxing at home.

They have six beers on tap.  Two of them are the often obligatory Bud & Miller Lite, but on this occasion, they also had Guinness, Blue Moon, Sam Oktoberfest and a delicious Red Hook Late Harvest on tap.  They also have a variety of other bottled beers.  The bartender was a nice guy, and took good care of us.

We went on a Sunday, and what a deal you get on Sunday, folks.  You can get Bud or Miller Lite on tap for just $2 a glass (I think the Late Harvest might have been $4 a glass, but still not a bad deal and well worth it).  The pool is half price, and if memory serves, I think they have ten tables.  And, umm... oh yeah, free food.  Lots of it.  On this occasion, they had a crapload of delicious Buffalo Wings, Ziti and some delicious stromboli style roll-ups.  My wife and I definitely got our fill.

I believe my wife and I polished off around 7 or 8 beers, played 2 hours of pool with our friends, watched the Jets game and polished off a few plates of grub, all for around 30 bucks (before the tip).  You can't beat that with a stick.  So Sunday is a great day to go... but they also have other happy hour deals.

One more nice little touch I have to mention... they have one of those traditional popcorn makers where you are welcome to serve yourself a nice basket of fresh popcorn, and you can top it off with Lowry's Season Salt.  That stuff is addicting, and goes very well with the beer.

And you'll particularly dig this place if you're a fan of the King.  TCB standing for, of course, Taking Care of Business, the name Elvis bestowed upon his band.  The place is festooned with Elvis memorabilia on the walls.  And if I can say so myself, I think this is a place Elvis himself would have enjoyed.  It's a place I thoroughly enjoy, although unlike the Big E, I don't plan on dying on the crapper... at least not here, anyway.

Any negatives?  Well, the only negative I can come up with was I saw a family bring their young daughter in (now THAT's classy).  But you can hardly hold that against the establishment.  The fact is I really enjoyed my game day over there, and I plan on going there on many more Sundays in the future.
