Nice place.  Good bartenders and some really good greek food.  Try the gyro.  Place is still a little to dark. No windows in the bar at all

for a dive bar hole-in-the-wall, it's actually pretty spacious on the inside.  A couple of friends invited me out to play Trivia there on a Wednesday (I think) and we had a perfectly pleasant time.

There are enough TVs that it would be a fine place to catch a game.  Waitstaff seemed friendly enough.  All in all, nothing screams awesome, but a-ok.

    Nice staff, friendly.
We just ordered some apps- had the sampler for two-the home run I think it is called. Had some Hummus, pita bread, veggies, stuffed mushrooms, and a few other things. Not to shabby.
We enjoyed our time here-watching an old granny get wasted! haha.
    Interesting crowd.
    they have a pool table

"Under New Management" Sign visible from Evans.
    Dive Bar=yes.
However--the new Management/Ownership has things going in the right direction in several good ways.

AMAZING FOOD ! The menu is three pages and filled with everything from Burgers, Wraps, Fish and Chips to Steaks, Mexican and Greek food!

I happened into this gem of a dive bar last night--by odd circumstances. I was being taken out to a Sushi Bar for my birthday when our trucks tire picked up a large piece of metal, going flat and coming off the rim. Stranded in the Sears parking lot--we had to have a change of plans while waiting for Roadside Assistance. So-- we walked across the street Teddy T's.
    Our server Rachel= AWESOME !
After hearing about our auto misadventures -- she bought me a very healthy size Jagermeister shot!! YAY!
We ordered the Appetizer sampler for one--it included Potato Skins, Quesadilla, Chicken, Stuffed Mushroom and Greek Food!!
    Everything was sooo tasty!
I met the owner- who is Greek and does most of the cooking. He knows what he is doing for sure.
As for the inside appearances for the bar-- it has been remodeled recently with fresh pains, carpet-some leather sofas and lots of HD Flat Screen TV's.
They had the Nuggets and Avalanche games on in addition to Champions League Soccer. They even have a Nintendo Wii system hooked up to one of the Big Screens-- several children were playing Wii Bowling--not the ideal place to take your kids-- but certainly not  "a great place to get stabbed" as the outside Dive Bar appearance suggests.
DEFINITELY try this place out-- and make sure to bring your appetite !!

I've been to Teddy T's a few times of the past several years and it is what it is... a dive. No outside light, dark interior and what was a smokers haven. I was there the other night and I believe it has changed ownership. Changes were already in the making. Several flat screen tv's were up now with different sporting events on each, the back room wall had been taken out to open the area up even more, the floor was being replaced, painting, etc...And I don't know about you but I am a green chili fan and this is the best bowl I have had in Denver!! I had to ask if they had some abuelas hispánicas pouring love into this bowl! NO, the chef is Jimmy the Greek! OMG!! I'm a fan, green chili and sports on a Sunday/MNFand cheap beers! what more can a sports fan ask for? The new manager stated Bloody Mary bars were in the making and a revamped menu as well...PLEASE KEEP THE GREEN CHILI!

Brown lettuce, undercooked boiled egg, and cucumber with fuzzy mold growing on it. A chef's salad that I dare the chef to eat.

If you want to experience the pain and trauma that is a Western Kansas wedding reception, head on down to Teddy T's.

Fully-loaded songbook or not, what's the point of even looking through it when you'll have to wait over an hour to sing (despite being told otherwise by... *Uncle Dutchie*)?  And during that hour wait you get to see a... ahem... "stage show" accompaniment to Lil' John's "Get Low"  courtesy of the (I'm assuming regular) patrons.  No, Toto, we're not in Kansas anymore.  We're in the all-sucking craphole otherwise known as Teddy T's.

As if that's not painful enough, neither of the stalls in the women's bathroom had working locks, so my consolation prize for the evening was getting to do not just the hover, but the ONE-HANDED hover.  While slightly drunk (no thanks to the bartender who took five minutes to even acknowledge me).  Because drinking was the only way to get through this experience, lest I run away in the night to escape...

...just like I did from Western Kansas.

(Not exactly a true story on how I got out of Kansas, but you get the idea.)

This is a great and overall clean dive bar.  It's like Cheers, where if you come often enough, everyone knows your name and the bar staff pour you a drink as soon as you walk through the door.  They have a large patio in the back which is great in the summer, but sucks in the winter since it's not enclosed.   With lots of seating inside, winter's not a problem unless you're a smoker.

On Tuesday, Friday, and Saturday, this place is rocking with Uncle Dutchie's karaoke.  If you happen to show up when I'm there,  you'll be treated to one of my perverted ballads.  While Friday and Saturday nights can be quite overcrowded, Tuesday night is considered "new song night".  It's the night that you try to practice songs you don't know very well since the joint is typically dead.

Foodwise, Teddy's offers you more than just the typical greasy bar burgers.  You can get a pretty decent steak dinner here, but don't expect Black Angus quality.  And though I haven't it myself, I've heard that their greek food is pretty tasty.

Teddy's plays host to a mellow crowd of old and young alike and with great drink prices, I can get drunk without taking out a second mortgage (unlike the overpriced bars in LoDo).  So if you want some cheer with your beer, come to Teddy T's!
