Best Rib's this side of Chicago !

Yes! After two years we've finally found a great spot where both the food AND the service are great. The place looks a little bit like it hasn't been updated since the 70's but once your first beer and appetizer come out, you don't care! The ribs are to die for. Blows away all the BBQ restaurants in the area hands down. This will be our weekly spot from here on.

This place is more like a den than a place for casual dining. I was quite surprised to find that there were hardly any windows or any ambiance for that matter, when I entered. The service was incredibly slow. Our waitress seemed very flustered and never communicated to us before she would suddenly disappear while in the middle of taking orders, etc. The food was ok, but the dinginess of this place was a definite distraction. I would definitely stick to the Tiffany's in Fairfield.

I came here on a Thursday night in December with a few friends. It was very quiet and not busy.

I got the pulled pork Panini. It was ok. It tasted the same as the pulled pork quesadia or a regular sandwich. It's not panini bread. IT was more like a pita bread. Called it a panani because it was grilled bread. It's on par with the other Tiffany's I've been to.
My friend's baked chicken was really dry. He kept complaining about it. Honestly, at a place like Tiff I would not anything besides bar food or sandwiches.

The bathroom urinals are different. First time over a mountain of ice. I wonder where I P over steam next. Not sure it's over ice because of water problem due to H. Sandy or its not as smelly over liquid H2O.

Went here to redeem a http://restaurant.com certificate. They wanted $10 to sit at a booth with a view of the TV(strike 1)! Our waitress seemed to be lost half of the evening as it took for forever to check in and on us. The food was ok...nothing to write home about. Think I'll stick with Fridays or Applebee's.

Lizzie, Carmella and I haven't been here in a while. Felt like hamburgers today, didn't want to travel far, so off we go.

The restaurant was clean. Good sign. The hostess was pleasant. So far so good. The charcoal burgers were dee-lish! Our waitress, Rose, was terrific; one of the best waitresses I've come across in many a day. (Nagles in Ocean Grove take note:. Visit Tiffany's. See what good service is.)

We'll be heading back on Wednesday when the ribs are buy a full rack get a full rack for free.

My boyfriend loves the ribs here- he says they're the best in NJ and have the best bbq sauce. I think they're pretty good, but I guess I'm just not as into ribs as he is. I ordered the poached pear salad, which tasted just like any salad one would order in a sports bar. I wish the grilled chicken I added to the top of it was hot and maybe I'm being too picky here but the champagne vinaigrette tasted like nail polish remover.

Service was excellent however the food is totally average. Ambiance is a little skeezy. The customers clearly come here for the bar and not the food. Won't be rushing back here.

I love the appetizers and desserts, but the dinner selection is horrible if ribs aren't included. The drinks are pretty good at this location. I only sit at the bar, and service is hit or miss. Overall pretty good, I go a few times a year.

You've got to hand it to a smart group of businessmen. In the early 80's, when so-called baby back ribs were emerging from the butcher's scrap pile to the dinner plate, Tiffany's began hawking them by the truckload. When local enthusiasm began to wane, Kenilworth resident and former NFL all pro Tony Siragusa, signed-on as co-owner, rejuvenating interest in what had become a seriously overplayed dining concept. In more recent years Tiffany's has hitched their cart to a broader array of diner-level offerings.

The reputation was built upon their ribs. They are sauced decently, but the ribs themselves are boiled to an overcooked mess before they even see a grill for finishing. One man's "fall-off-the-bone tender" is another's "woefully overcooked and lacking any pork flavor."

Tiffany's has grown to a chain of four locations, yet remains one of the better known eateries in Union. In my book, this is a sad commentary.

I've gone to Tiffany's on and off for some years. Lately it's been more off than on. The food is just OK, unless you go for the ribs which are excellent. Otherwise the food is just OK. I do think they are getting too damn pricey for drinks. Two price increases over the last 3 months has pushed their pricing out of the acceptable range for Union. I'm not sure what they're trying to accomplish by driving up the drink prices but they have succeeded in making me go elsewhere. There seems to be a lack of understanding of what the market will bear.
The service is spotty. It depends who's working and what mood their in. It's kind of hard to say Tiff's is either good or bad. I give it 3 stars largely because of past performance. Current performance is more like 2 stars.

My boyfriend and I came here last night for dinner. I hadn't been here since I was 8, so it's been a while. Parking was a slight problem due to the tons of snow in the lot. The place just seems a little outdated - it wasn't awful but didn't blow me away, either. Our waitress was pleasant and attentive. She came over quickly to take our drink order, and we decided on the fried mozzarella appetizer. It was pretty good - four mozzarella triangles with a good tomato sauce for dipping.

For dinner, my boyfriend had the chicken pot pie, which looked delicious and he really enjoyed it. I chose the mozzarella and tomato panini, which I liked, but thought was a bit soggy from the balsamic dressing. The fries were yummy.

All in all, it wasn't terrible by any means but wasn't great enough to warrant a return visit any time soon.

Talk about your conflicting experiences.

My first time at Tiffany's was on Sunday during Sunday night football. The place was crowded, raucous, and the servers were highly motivated. They took the orders quickly, brought the food promptly, and kept checking back to make sure we were happy.

The second time was New Years Day. The place was almost empty, and the staff was absolutely miserable, and made sure we knew it. It took a while to take our orders, food came at random time intervals, the wrong things were brought and no apology was offered, and the waitress pointedly ignored our table after the last dish came, except to bring the check (with a large tip auto-calculated into the total).

I will say, both times the food was excellent, though not generous for the prices.

Not sure what to recommend on this one. On the one hand, you are guaranteed good food here. On the other hand, you're not guaranteed a great experience overall. Can't tell you if my first or second time was the fluke. Exercise caution.

Owner (and former NFL player) Tony Siragusa is from Kenilworth, so I have to go to Tiffany's once and awhile to support a local legend!

For most of my life, the best ribs in the world were from Tiffany's but unfortunately, I'm not sure that's true anymore (Longhorn in Piscataway [not Woodbridge or other locations] is my current fave). Still, the food is good and the atmosphere is cool.

It's not the nicest looking area right there by Route 22, and the traffic can get backed up there, so minus one star for that. Other than that, though, it's good for a local date night dinner.

It drives me absolutely crazy when a pub-type place can't pour a decent beer. I'm not looking for a shamrock on top of my Guiness, but for the love of God... Their pints are truly appalling.
Occasionally I'll go for a "Bacon Blue Burger" here, (hold the gallon of fake butter on the "toasted bun") but I wish there were someplace close by that were a better option. I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, and Tiffany's is no exception.

I live in the area and have driven past this place hundreds of times (it's right off RT22) but have never gone in. I got food to go, and definitely got the wings which were good, and the open turkey sandwich, which was okay... but a little salty. I'd go back and eat in--looked like a friendly place to hang out and have a few drinks.

Latest craze for me is the Naked wings, extra crispy, sauce on the side. Hard to find wings served like this around NY/NJ. I used to get them down when I lived in Jacksonville, FL.

First time here; but based on prior reviews, I was looking forward to it. We arrived on a Friday evening at approximately 8 pm -- the parking lot was full, so we were afraid that the wait would be long. SURPRISE -- inside, the place is LARGE; the staff was very cordial, and we were seated promptly. We agree -- the ribs were GREAT. The drinks did not disappoint. We were too early for the Karaoke (it starts at 10:30 pm). Definitely a place worth coming to again.

My family and I frequent Tiffany's solely for the ribs. They are the most succulent fall off the bone baby-backs around. They have a huge bar loaded with TV sets (yeah mostly sports), but you gotta remember Tony Siraguso (NFL) is one of the owners, so what would you expect? I believe on Friday nights is karaoke night.

Basically a nice little place to hang out and eat some ribs. The drinks are not bad either.
