I went for the first time on December 8th to watch the pacquio vs Marquez fight. Food was great, but drinks were terrible. I ordered a long island ice tea and it only had vodka with a small hint of coke. No tequila, no rum no nothing. The TV speakers kept going out every 5min. That place would be a lot better if they had better bar service.

What's up with the low reviews, tons of tv's good food, and lots of beers to choose from!

This place is starting to get it! Of course the girls are adorable, but this is So. Cal and they are pretty much everywhere. There seems to be a philosophical shift in this place recently, and they are personalizing the experience which is huge to me. The wings are great, breakfast with no lines and served till 2 on Sunday! Can't beat that.

Basically, the tilted kilt is the scottish hooters. Less wings and more beers!

I came here twice for happy hours and it was pretty fun both times. We pretty much had every appetizer (See Rodney S's review). Some notable ones are the garlic fries and the spinach artichoke dip. The mozzarella sticks and quesadillas are pretty average to me.

I love the service here, the girls are all pretty and friendly (just ask Rodney)! Additionally, we brought a bunch of board games and they were super chill with us playing it! Furthermore, I love Tilted Kilt better than Hooters because the drink menu is much better. I recommend the Stone IPA and Pale Goose IPA, both have a nice blend of hops and citrus tang.

My only complaint is the terrible placement of the pool table with some patrons rudely shoving pool cues at my friends or the fire place burning me up on a hot day...

Overall, boobs, booze, and board games. A great way to spend some time with great friends!

My favorite hands down. The cheese, bacon & green onions perfectly complemented the potato.

Seating was plentiful, with wooden decor. We sat in a semi-private area next to the pool table. A few of us were almost hit by pool cues a few times, but no harm, no foul. I dug the music, mostly 80's which is fine by me. Several flatscreen TV's were on display for our viewing pleasure. Our waitresses checked on us timely for refills and if we wanted anything else. The air conditioning was a lifesaver! It's bloody hot!

Our party played a few rounds of Jenga, followed by some intense sessions of the card game, Mafia.

I had a great time at Tilted Kilt Long Beach. I think of it as a Hooters+. The restaurant was clean, the waitresses were friendly (and easy on the eyes ;p) and the appetizers were tasty. I can see myself coming back again for another get together or to make the waitresses swoon with my sexy self ;p

I love this location. It's always a good time here! The servers are always attentive and pay attention to the details. It's very clean, there are 42 beers on tap and nothing beats affordable games of pool. I definitely recommend them!

OK, the obvious question is "What the hell is a 'Tilted Kilt'?
My wife and I heard the servers were less than scantily dressed so we avoided this establishment for quite a while. One day, while in the area, we decided to give it a try. As we drove up, we noticed how 'new' the place looked, very clean.
We were greeted right away by the hostess and decided to sit at one of their bar tables. On the way to our table, we of course noticed all the servers running around with customer orders. We were pleasantly surprised at how professional they all looked. Our server came up right away and took our drink order.
We took a look at the bar and noticed they have about 40 beers on tap and the place is covered with about the same amount of T.V.s with a pool table in the corner!
At first glance, the menu looked small but upon further inspection it was loaded with all sorts of choices!
Our drinks arrived and we decided on the Irish nachos (Check-in to get them for free). They are AWESOME! My wife got the pastrami and she said it was the best she had ever eaten. I got the Philly Cheese steak and it was really good too! Since our first time here, we have ordered different items with the same result. The Shepard's pie is served in a small pot and was amazing! Tip: Do not order an appetizer or dessert if ordering the Shepard's pie, you will NOT finish it.
All in all, we are sorry for waiting so long to try this place but we will make up for lost time!

Ok I have been here several times now, got to love this place the service is great, the girls are great and the food is great! I definitely recommend to anyone who just wants to hang out and watch a game or just get some good food. By the way this is not just a cheap rip off of Hooters, I really dislike Hooters it is tacky and the food is not god at all. The Kilt is worth a try.

Irish pub version of hooters. Tilted Kilt serves your typical bar food (wings, burgers, sandwiches, etc.),and drinks! We came here for a quick bite to eat but ended up having a few drinks as well! We came during the week so it wasn't too busy.. I could only imagine what the place looks like during a major sporting event... When we checked in we got a free order of Irish nachos, delicious! Overall, service was good and food was just a-ok.

Got the Irish Nachos for checking in on yelp. Yummy no greasy and really good. I ordered the gaelic chicken and he got the Big Arse burger. Chicken is really tender and tastes great. Mashed potatoes suppose to have garlic in them. I think i was expecting or hoping for more garlic, but they are really good. The sauce is amazing, great choice. Thanks Jordan (waitress).
Burger was cooked as ordered. Huge. Garlic fries LOTS of garlic. Loved those. Will be back

For the type of restaurant this place is, it gets a five. From my experience, the service was great along with the food and drinks.

Went about three weeks with a large party and we were seated quickly. Everyone's order was correct, they checked up on us every so often, they accommodated our requests (including spiting checks) and everyone seemed satisfied.

I can honestly say that the chicken Cesar wrap that I had has been one of the best ones I've ever had and the the garlic fries were just delicious! My blended margaritas were a bit too watered down, but the food and the company made up for it.

Looking forward to a second visit.

I didn't know what to really expect from this place so I guess I didn't have much to be disappointed on.

I found the food to not have much flavor and actually quite boring. The servers were not much better than girls who couldn't get a job at Hooters. It might have been an off night but it wasn't enough to make me want to return.

Better than Hooters for sure as far as ambience and image. Been here several times and it is hit or miss with the waitresses. Some of them are okay and some of them are just plain ditzy. Sometimes I think they act really unprofessional, flirting with each other and patrons.

Food is not spectacular, it is your usual fried and greasy bar food.

I do like the boys in skirts. lol.

Update: We went back here over the weekend, and it was just as bad, if not worse than before. The place was not crowded at all, was staffed appropriately, yet the service was still terrible. The bartenders/servers were much more interested in carrying on discussions amongst themselves than helping customers. Frustrating.

Not the best service. Came here for UFC 158 and this place was packed! The wait was more than 3 hours, which was expected. However, it was super disappointing when the PPV finished and we take a look around and see that there are well over 10 tables open we still do not get seated for another 30+ minutes. The waitresses seemed nice but looked to be more concerned about entertaining and chatting with drunk parties rather than seating and serving starving people. Overall it had a great vibe and food was very good, especially for being a bar. Best part is they don't charge a cover to simply stand in and watch the PPV so that was real cool. They also had a check in bonus for free nachos. Which were some of the best ground beef nachos around. I would definitely come here again, especially for a PPV, but I will for sure get food before.

Came in on UFC fight night. The place is packed wall to wall, there's 6 of us in our group and are told if we want a table it will be three hours BUT would you like drinks while you wait? YES!

the waitresses were all great! Even though we had to stand the whole time, waitresses all served you where you were standing, and they were fast, even if you walked up to the bar, the bartender was quick to acknowledge you. Couldn't have chosen a better place for the fight.

Beautiful, friendly, and helpful staff even when packed wall to wall.

TVs everywhere so you couldn't miss any action.

Wow! What a great place to hang! All four of us ate off the traditional fare . The Irish Stew was great! The waitresses are adorable and very nice. The decor is top notch with an awesome interior layout. It's my fist time at a Tilted Kilt, it was for all of us. We'll definitely be back!

The first thought of the place was Hooters with a twist. After given tiny specks for what they called Wings, I lost interest. Titled Kilt on the other hand is my new home. The staff are super cute and friendly.

The drinks are priced decent. Anytime I'm in Long Beach, you can find me here!

Very good bar food, full bar, and good beer selection. Sadly, this place is near my job so I can't partake.

Skimpy "slutty catholic school girl" outfits on the waitresses doesn't hurt. The girls are cute, and service is pretty good.

Huge TV's everywhere.

Vastly better, in every way, over Hooters.

Scantily clad servers and bar food. That's pretty much all I have to say about Tilted Kilt.

As I was there for lunch, I didn't partake in the adult beverages as I had to get back to work. So, I can't and won't comment on their selection. I didn't even look so I wasn't tempted.

Parking. Ample parking. However, it could be the time of day. I can't speak for how it is at night or on the weekends.

Service. Our server was okay. She didn't keep our party waiting long and she wasn't too hard on the eyes. She did come across like she was trying too hard to be nice. Maybe she had a bad experience with the other tables. A few were loud and rowdy.

Food. Nothing memorable. It was bar food. Not expecting anything spectacular.

Maybe my experience would have been different if I was there for happy hour. Not that it my experience was awful - just the concept of the servers' attire seems to be the lure there - not really my cup of tea.

The hot little waitresses and their skimpy outfits are the best thing about this place.

The drinks are way, way overpriced. The food is mediocre. The service is sub-par.

I would only recommend coming to this place during happy hour because paying full price for what you get is ridiculous.

This was my first, and will be only time here back in December 2012. Figured we would stop in after seeing a movie. We so wish we would have chosen, basically, anywhere else. I'm putting this up now because I found myself giving a verbal testimony to a friend the other day that was thinking of trying the place. It reminded me of all the following:

The beer on tap was cold, but the food and service were very poor.

I should say the service was just ordinary, nothing special and slightly rushed. Picking up my plate with 1/4 sandwich still on it....can't you wait?? We were one of only two tables with customers.

Speaking of that sandwich, I got the french dip. The meat was grainy, rubbery and flavorless. They were really asking a lot from the over salty dipping sauce.

My husband got a sausage sandwich. You would expect good irish sausage here, right? He said it was very standard and just ok. I didn't try it because it looked undercooked and ugly.

We won't be back for food anytime soon, but we may stop in for a cold beer someday at the bar area. Maybe.
Seriously though, there are really so many better places to enjoy friends and cold beer.

I passed by the Tilted Kilt in the Mandalay Bay in Vegas, and have never stopped in. This time I was there for the first stop in the Big Red Bus tour. Reasons why the Tilted Kilt is better than Hooters:

1. A better menu. This menu has everything from tacos to pasta to great salads, rather than a "chicken hot wings" based theme.

2. TVs everywhere. Like a good sports bar should have.

3. Better fashion sense. Really, Hooters, orange dolphin shorts, tights, and polyester everywhere? Here at least you have a better (and more natural fiber) outfit. Even the bartender, who was male, was wearing a kilt.

4. Faster service, less attitude. I realize that the life of a sportsbar waitress in a semi skimpy outfit is not all fun and pushup bras. But at least they do their job professionally here and orders were taken and the check was presented when we had to leave for the bus promptly, and very friendly.

Took the Big Red Bus pub tour a few weeks ago & had a blast! 1st stop is the Tilted Kilt and that's where the fun begins. I live in the IE & wasn't driving that day so I think I was already tipsy by the time we arrived (Sunday is usually brunch/mimosa day). There was SO much alcohol involved in that day I don't even remember. Story of my life. Ha!

Decided to take advantage of the happy hour deal before getting on the Big Red Bus so we ordered hot wings, mozzarella sticks, a mimosa, & a beer. Everything was 1/2-price & you know I luv a great deal! Woohoo! I think all of that stuff was about $20 w/tax and that makes the food and drinks taste even better. :-D

Our server was adorable & of course I don't remember her name but she was the cutest, most well-endowed gal in the place. The girls wear skimpy lil outfits & she looked great in hers (especially compared to some of her co-workers). Just sayin. . . She was super friendly, had a great attitude, took our order quickly, & got the food and drinks out to the table in no time. This is a cool sports bar w/tons of TVs & great happy hours specials so be sure to check it out next time you're in the LBC.

The food is just ALRIGHT!

I've had better.

I have mixed feelings on this place, the atmosphere is good the food is mixed, I had the Irish Nachos but I was expecting Cheddar Cheese and Bacon not Cheese Whiz and ground beef ( I should have read more than the title of "Irish Nachos"). The wings are a little better than average but a small portion and in today's case a little under cooked. The Club sandwich was good.
I think the biggest downside to this place is the price. We went in for a family lunch for four and walked out $100.00 poorer for the experience.
Like I said the pace was ok and would go back just not anytime soon.

Luckily, we happened upon here just in time for the final round of a UFC fight (not being sarcastic, I happen to like it). Despite being busy, the waitresses were very attentive at the beginning (by the end though they were lagging on bringing the bill). I had the Gaelic Chicken, which has a great sauce and only $13... Great deal since I took home half and left overly full. We also tried the Shephard's Pie, and again finished less than half.

I looked on the drink menu for something refreshing, but I just can't bring myself to think mixing gin or fireball whiskey is a good idea. And beer isn't my thing. I'd like to see a wider selection of drinks or ciders. I know the girls in little skirts and bra baring shirts is for the men, but at least let me drink.

This being said, we'd go back for the next fight :-)

Decent food, lots of TVs for your sports enjoyment, the waitresses are actually easy on the eyes and not tasteless like your other places.

Their wings are good, the beers are iced cold, service good, plenty of seating and parking. A great way to come enjoy game #5 of the LA Kings' win over Phoenix and a trip to the Stanley Cup.

To recap....Tilted Kilt is a sports bar with nice girls in nice attire (nice gals I must say) serving you with pretty decent food and entertainment. Lots of TVs playing all your sporting events. They also have a lot of happy hour events throughout the week.

It's sensory overload in the finest: Kilts gone wild. Beautiful waitresses, lots of TV's, and tons of drafts. Yep, pretty girls in knee-high stockings and plaid skirts, er kilts, whatever -- extremely cute "Schoolgirl" uniforms, but these girls strut more like a classic Rock Video girls with plenty of cleavage...neighboring alongside Hooters and Twin Peaks. It has a better menu of food; burgers, salads, nachos, and several traditional Irish/English grub; Irish stew, shepherds pie, fish & chips; and all the wings and fried things you can imagine.

The clientele is rubber-necked and testosterone aplenty, with not-so-surprising 98% men (skewed older), and I counted 2 women. Then, both women left -- maybe they were lost? ;-)

I huddled up to the bar on a night that had LA Kings game #4, Lakers vs Warriors, and Dodgers vs Brewers [http://www.yelp.com/biz_…...perfect setting along with all those draft beers! Lumi (a dreamy looking bartender with cute bangs and rockin' bod) and Fallon (Miss Personality, gorgeous, and Jennifer Love Hewitt-like...HELLO) --- both provided plenty of giggles, despite the unfortunate losses from 2 of the 3 LA teams (Kings and Dodgers).

THE BURGERS --- about 10 to choose from, and several substitutions for the standard fries (not that there's anything wrong with that!): salad, rings, slaw, sweet potato fries, garlic fries. I picked the garlic fries and with the BBQ Bacon cheese burger [photo: http://www.yelp.com/biz_…, and it was 10oz of supreme burger! Excellent, served on a brioche-like bun with bbq sauce, bacon, and onion strings -- heart attack alert! Along with the "Beef", Turkey, and Black bean patty's are also available.

HAPPY HOURS --- Both the traditional 3p-6p daily, and then weekend specials, too [photo: http://www.yelp.com/biz_…)

Very good service and amazing food for a pub environement. This is not your HOOTERS! This location has had a few managers over the past few years. The present gen. mgr has a great vision for this location.

Full Bar.. complete fantastic line up of tap beers and pretty great happy hour prices.

Used to be so much better . . .

When the kilt first opened, they were on top of their game. The girls were gorgeous, the food was outstanding and the service was GREAT. I don't know what happened, but its just not as good as it used to be.

Some of the girls look tired and lifeless, which isn't attractive. The place had a great, fun regular crowd for wed trivia, but that is not even happening there anymore. The food used to be consistently above average. It is still good sometimes, but the servings seem smaller, i got a chicken wing with a pea sized about of actual meat on it! I do like the food, but there is just something about the quality that seems lower.

The service is hit or miss. If we get a waitress that knows someone in our group, the service is great. If not, we barely see the waitress and getting and drink or placing an order seems impossible.

I went for trivia and realized i was spending a lot more money each week than i would if they didn't have the trivia. Its probably good for my budget that trivia is gone :)

I Thought I was going to a Scottish pub not hooters on steroids? I wasn't complaining either. :)
The food was Great it Really it was! Our table was all over the menu and every one of us were completely satisfied There sweet potato fries were off the hook! ordered another round with my food because I couldn't get enough and then again with my after beer. :)
Beer selection was big and I was happy about that! also ordered a few creative mixed shots and hot bartender was on it! A lil pricey but what you expect to pay for drinks at a place like this. All in All a good time and I will definitely go back the next time I'm in the area. Cheers!

Been here a few times now and I have decided that it is absolutely average. However, in defense of themed girly sport bar food, the menu is actually pretty impressive and I'll admit that I like the food. Prices are typical of a sports bar with half naked girls walking around but it's still worlds better than Hooters.

The girls here are cute and pretty, not hugely fake and grotesque like Las Vegas Hooters or Strip Clubs. I actually appreciate the girls hired here. They have fresh faces and nice bodies. I've only seen a couple of them who have giant fake boobs that are nice to look for a couple seconds, but you will undoubtedly have your attention drawn away by the more natural or mostly-natural beauties.

No, I'm not a lesbian, but I am not at all afraid to say that the girls here are, for the most part, beautiful. I just wish they wouldn't wear so much make-up.

The food.

Menu selection is decent and I'm actually surprised by the diversity offered. The quality of the food is also pretty good, which is surprising for a bar....a sports bar.....a themed sports bar.....with pretty girls.

Warm pretzel appetizer is comfort food through and through.
Buffalo Chicken salad is pretty good and very generous. No skimping on the ingredients.
Chicken Strips have good flavour and aren't dry.
One Shot flatbread pizza is crispy and light with a fair amount of toppings. The flatbread is quite thin so don't expect a hearty pita. Expect a thin cracker.
Cheeseburger was good but the bun was really dry and kind of old.
Fries were very good.

Service is friendly but the girls *are* working for tips. Be nice to them and don't be a douche bag. They're prettier when they're not pissed off.

I won't say that I'll go out of my way to eat here, but I will say that I like it here and I'll probably return at some point with a friend or two.

Alright lemme sum this up with as little effort as possible.

Kinda like a twisted version of a sports bar/strip club with no lap dances, below average food with plenty of eye candy posing as servers (wannabe models and actresses), with dismal service to boot with some boobies (push up bras) and thigh showin.

Just by looking around at the clientele, I noticed the old guys and a few young kids in this joint had their eyes set on the girls a$$ets at all times....nothing special, you can see more skin @ the beach... the concept caters to old married guys and sexually repressed 18 year olds.

Believe me, sexy awesome TK, you really only deserve two stars. But because we went during Happy Hour and were thus satisfied for a mere cost, A-OK it is!

The busboy was even in a kilt. You gotta respect a place that is consistent across the board. But damn some of these girls were fine! It helps that our waitress was pretty herself :)

After a jaunt over from Joe Jost's, I was beered out (is that possible!!?!?) and opted for Jack and ginger ale. Thanks for the ginger ale and splash of JD, ladies!

We opted for some HH special appetizers -- Irish nachos and soft pretzels. Pretty good, nice and fresh, but ABSOLUTELY NO WAY would I get these for regular price! Just... medium. Very medium overall.

In a town filled with hotspots of awesomeness, uniqueness and hard-working residents who deserve the best for their buck, I don't really foresee coming back here anytime soon.

I had no idea what I was in for when I decided to come here for lunch with a friend--it's a totally Plaid Hooters! Apparently they have a billboard on 2nd Street advertising a "No Ugly Lunch" with one of their "lovelies" advertising her wares. Kind of put me off my onion rings though to see them parading around with their toned abs and navel piercings. Ah well, guess that's just my problem. The place is pretty big and chock-a-clock with all manner of British tchotchkes all over the walls, complete with a suit of armor near the front door--neat! Oh, another neat thing I must mention was that the dudes were wearing kilts too--well, I guess kilts are originally for dudes anyway, but whatevs. When a busboy came by to clear a nearby table I was pleasantly surprised to see that he was wearing a very business-like black kilt with his black t-shirt. At least it's an equal-opportunity kilting.

The grub here is strictly of the pub variety, which is to say burgers, sandwiches, pizzas, and various "Irish" things. I opted for their Inferno Big Arse Burger (ok, stop laughing) with a side of garlic fries and my friend had their bleu cheese burger with onion rings. I liked my burger very much, actually: big juicy patty with fresh produce and lots of jalapenos and spicy mayo to make it more like a raging hot tub rather than an inferno, but hey, I have a pretty high heat tolerance. The garlic fries were a letdown though, all kinda limp and stale-tasting, the powder parmesan they sprinkle on top not doing anything for them. But my friend's onion rings were delish, all crispy and onion-y. But the sad face came for my friend when the burger didn't agree with his stomach later--I experienced no problems myself, but thought I should make note of my friend's pains.

The joint was jumpin' with the post new year's day crowd enjoying the football game on the many flatscreen TVs plastered all over the walls. Overall not a bad place to hang out with a raucous sporting crowd who enjoy decent and decently-priced pub grub served by scantily clad girls. I must also note that our waitress was very nice and friendly, despite (or because of) being scantily clad. Best part of the visit, though, was seeing my order called "Inferno Arse" on the receipt (see photo).
