Gallagher's Pub & Grill

I wonder how why no one mentions that this place smells like a sewer.  Maybe it is because most of the reviewers on here might have had their service outside where there is ventilation.  I cannot give the place a fair rating on food or service because whoa... that backed up poo water smell makes you want to run for ze hills once you try to come in.

Parking is very difficult- street only. As soon as we walked in we stated we wanted to watch the Galaxy game and the hostess changed the channel on the biggest screen for us.  Within minutes a band began to set up right in from of the screen.  We should have been told about the band and offered to sit elsewhere.  No one came over to apologize about the distraction  even though we had discussed the game with two servers.  We changed seats on our own away from the band.  

We are thankful we were now in a different section with a much better server that we extremely attentive throughout the busy night.  

The food was very mediocre.  We had the garlic mushrooms, bacon wrapped jalapenos, the California Burger, and the chicken curry.  The mushrooms were very lemony and otherwise unseasoned.  The burger was very bland, especially for having pepper jack cheese and a "spicy aioli" on it..  

It you want to go out drinking and listen to live music this would be a good place.  But if you want to eat good food go elsewhere and if you want to watch a game be sure it's not a band night.  Oh,  their website doesn't work so checking may be a problem.

I love this place. The food is fantastic and the drinks very reasonable.
BUT...This is for Ciaran/Erin:
Please have your wait staff (girls) stop calling women "babe" and "sweetie" unless they are maybe a year or so older. Quite a few of us over 40 women find it very inappropriate.
It is insulting and (sorry) rather low class.
