I was in town for a convention at the Long Beach Convention Center, which is literally just across the street. After a long day, it was time for a snack, a brew, and we were even fortunate to get a little music for the evening.
It looks and feels like Irish pubs everywhere: dark wood, a tap list favoring brews from the Emerald Isle, and sandwiches. The potato soup hit the spot.
I only regret that I found the Auld Dubliner on my last night in Long Beach.
stoped by for a whiskey drink and a beer. Â so this rating is not for the food but since its so close to our condo we will diff try out the food and i will update at a later time. Â As for why i gave 3 stars. Â well its because the whiskey i tried was nasty. Â Told that to the waitress and she told me "sorry we cant exchange it for another one" Â i was kinda surprised by that as i have tasted some shitty ass drinks in the past and i always had a exchange for another one. esp if the person is willing to upcharge and pay for a higher brand whiskey. Â Because lets face it. Â if you order a $10 shot of whiskey and it sucks why would you order one for a lesser price. Â Beer was a well beer. Â they cant F* that up. the place itself is nice and it gets crazy on fri/sat. Â So since it was a sunday and it was slow and i didnt i shall review it again in the near future.
