On a recent visit to Paradise, being my first time I read that they had a Monday special buy one get one free. Upon arriving I was greeted by a younger Hispanic guy sitting at the front entrance. My first thought was that seemed unprofessional, but being that it seemed slow, I can understand.I sat at the bar and waited for a friend. I was then approached by the bartender, Tim who was a very friendly guy. He seemed very knowledgable and was quick to help me out with the menu. I ordered a glass of wine he suggested. As he was going through the menu, he mentioned that the Monday special was 2 entrees for $25. Not what I had read initially but still a good deal. Once my friend arrived, we went into the dining room, where we had Chris as our server. Also very friendly and knowledgable. We stuck with the 2 for $25. Which I have to say the fried chicken is to die for. Over all our experience was a good one. Food was delicious. Service was quick and attentive and we had a really nice time overall. Along with the dim lights and candle light, it made for a relaxing and stress free atmosphere. We/I will definitely be back.
Review Source:Bartender Farrouk is very informative and hot and a must see in long beach people one of a kind. Also I absolutely love the Paradise Burger with avocado and onion strings can you say Delicious #ParadiseLongBeach if there is a easy flow and a more relaxed atmosphere here is the place!!!!!!
Review Source:I used to love the Paradise!
The food was great, especially the appetizers, the service was great and the attention from the waiter and Manager was excellent. What happened?
I was there for Care to Dine and I was really disappointed. There were only 2 tables occupied, there were lots of waiters but we got more attention from a waiter that was not ours.
The busboy was sweeping the dining room while we were eating and dusting the chairs!
One of the appetizers was terrible, the jalapeño poppers were hard and old, it tasted like they were refried. The calamari was ok. I ordered Salmon and it had literally no flavor, the mashed potatoes tasted like out of a box.
When I spend $120 on 2 dinners I expect great service and great food.
