Food is really not good. Using long grain rice for risotto. Roasted pepper only tastes tomato sauce and a lot of cheese. And don't order their pork belly pizza. Pizza was good and pork belly doesn't seem fully cooked after a over 10 minute wait. Only good thing is their cocktail. Will not go back or recommend to a friend.

I will start my review with the thing that I consider the most important with respect to a restaurant and that is the food. I won't say that it was terrible, but it was incredibly bland. We ordered the stuffed artichoke appetizer and the sweet potato pizza. The artichoke filling was just overly sweet and lacking any ideal flavor. The sweet potato pizza, I actually considered the best part of the meal.

For the entree portion we ordered the special of the night which was the halibut. The fish was cooked fine, but overall the dish was just ok. For $32 I would expect better than just okay. We also ordered the braised short ribs which were pretty much tasteless and generally the worst short ribs i have ever eaten.

So yeah I would say the food is maybe a 1-1.5 stars.

The service was atrocious. While there were a few bus boys who were excellent, our server was amateur hour. After taking our entree order, he returned 15 minutes later and asked again what we ordered. When food finally arrived instead of halibut it was sea bass. When we explained that it was not what we ordered the waiter actually blamed us for what was clearly his mistake. After the meal was over, it took over 45 minutes to get the check and out the door. It was like dining at CPK but at fine dining prices.

So between the bad food and the terrible service I would absolutely never return to Christys and I would not recommend it to anyone.

Close but no cigar.  Nice atmosphere. Not cheap to eat there.  Small plates are good but they are small and can get pricey.  Service is great.  Had some friends in from SF and wanted to show them a nice time.  They liked it but I was a little embarrassed that this was the best we could come up with as our meal was pricey, the small plates we pretty small and entrees a bit disappointing.  Wine was expensive but in line with the type of restaurant Christy's is aspiring to be.
