  Things are better at Tobo's with a change in management over the summer,  Monday night football, karaoke Tuesdays, regular first class Blues shows and a great, loyal bar staff, this spot can be a winner if you are looking for a bar to hang.  
  
  This isn't a downtown LB spot but a locals, plus place and I have never felt uncomfortable visiting for cocktails or beer after work.  Don't get it twisted, there are still crazy/bad folks in the neighborhood, but they are firmly dissuaded to enter or linger outdoors.

  This is a nice dive bar. The bartenders are friendly and make a mean drink. I have been here many times and have not dealt with stabbings, shootings, and all the other stereotypical crap the other reviews say. It's not for everyone, and that's why I like it.

  , this could be your last hurrah. It's local and scary. But if you go, make it your first stop. Make it early. The thump in, ' bum pin' urban music might be nice, but if the riff raff inside don't unnerve your fun with the stank eye and b ad attitude, the riff raff outside will.
  
  And notify me in advance. Then I won't have to wonder what the police sirens, paramedics, helicopters, new vans and reporters are all about.

  Nightly fights, stabbings and shootings. As a matter of fact there was just a shooting outside last weekend. This place should have been closed down long ago...makes you wonder who they pay off or know.

  So, I understand that this spot is being considered for the Sleazy Bar Crawl UYE. I'm tellin' ya now, take a pass. This isn't Mom's BBQ on Imperial.
