We visited Tony Sacco's with friends before a show at Carmel Community Playhouse. Â The pizza was over-priced and merely average. Â Our waitress gave us mediocre service at best. Â I would go with friends if they wanted to go to Tony Sacco's, but I wouldn't make it a point to go out of my way to go back myself.
Review Source:I came here expecting to really, really, REALLY like this place. Â I'd heard a lot about it and finally had the opportunity to try it.
It was....well, it was "OK" is the best I can give it. Â The pizza was no better, IMO, than a frozen pizza from the grocery. Â The service was average to below average. Â The price, for what you get, was, I thought, outrageous.
I don't anticipate visiting again.
It was 9 PM on a Tuesday and they were still open for dinner! Hubby and I had their garlic rotolis and it came in 8 big pieces with dipping sauces for only $5. Then we shared a small Capo pizza and it was huge. It's 12 inches and it was definitely good for 3-4 people if you're ordering an appetizer as well.
I like the fact that they have sweet tea and they offers a shortcake baked inside their coal oven. How interesting is that?
The location is convenient as its in the Clay Terrace Mall and there's plenty of parking in the back of the building. Service was excellent and it's price right.
