i wouldn't recommend the braised pork quesadilla -- the consensus of the group was that it tasted more like a tamale. the food was ok, the ambience was really cute, almost makes you feel like you're not in fresno. there is even an outdoor patio area. i like the decor, and the service is great.

I have eaten at Veni's several times and I have always left satisfied.  The food is nicely prepared and of good quality but it is the service that makes Veni's one of my favorite restaurants.  I always ask for Susan.  It is rare in Fresno to get professional service while being treated like family at the same time.  Way to go!
