Excellent service, great atmosphere, good prices, good selection on menu, clean dining area and bathrooms, indoor and outdoor sitting, nestled in a nice little neighborhood with a neighborhood hangout feel. Management is professional, attentive and receptive to customers needs and requests. Daily specials constantly. Highly recommended!
Review Source:Best wings in town! Better than Sports Grill, I guarantee it.
I order wings from this little spot for events or take out all the time. The fries are pretty amazing too. Lots of beers on draft. Staff is awesome and attentive. $6 pitchers on Thursday nights - Karaoke night! You can't go wrong.
Everything that we ordered was amazing. Dolphin fingers, churrasco, mahi mahi, brownie dessert , yummmy. The prices are not bad and the portions are large enough to share. I had more than half of my plate set to take home since the dolphins fingers were plentiful and I overindulged a bit. I will definitely be back soon.
Review Source:Ok let's get right down to business - this place gets one star knocked off because they have no liquor. Yes, you read right, NO LIQUOR - beer and wine ONLY!!! So if you can live with that, then hurry on over! I am not sure what the food tastes like but I can attest to the fact that there was a heaping pile of loaded nachos on a nearby table that I was totally ready to jump on, never mind the fact that I didn't know the people at all ;) We went on a Thursday night and it was karaoke night. It started off slow but ended up being a great time - nothing like other karaoke places in Miami. This place has a chill atmosphere, there is no dress code and you'll find anything from a young man belting out some rock tunes with his (super cool) mom to a girl who actually got tipped by other patrons for her amazing voice. At the end of the night, everyone was singing along to every song and having a fantastic night. Wouldn't it be great if this was how every night ended instead of drunken arguments over spilled beer?? I thought it was a nice breath of fresh air. After karaoke was over, they played dance music and again everyone started dancing. Overall, great great atmosphere - probably extremely difficult to find a place this chill anywhere else in Miami. Now, get that full liquor bar in there already so I can give you those 5 sexy stars!
Review Source:Thursday night kareoke rocks.. the liquid diet is on point thanks to the awesome dude at the bar, and the crowd totally gets into it. The servers are nice, the bathroom is clean ( yes that is important when I get drunk- lol ). The downside? they close early..wa wa waaa.
Must do again!
This place is an awesome low key neighborhood bar. They have awesome wings (house special sauce is great) and the other food is pretty damn good. Â The drinks are pretty cheap and they have 16oz buckets for cheap depending on the night. They have an outdoor patio area where you can smoke with speakers so if you are watching sports you don't miss out on much. They have a bunch of cool local sports memorabilia all over the walls. Other pros are they have an old school arcade game and one of those arcade golf games.
Check the hours though. Yelp says open until 2 AM but last time I went it was 11PM on the weekdays and Midnight on Friday & Saturday
I've come to really like this place. Great to watch sports, drink beer and eat bar food. They have some daily beer specials and on Mondays it's a bucket of 5 bud lights for $10 and they are in 16oz aluminum bottles. I also really enjoy the beef sliders that come with the french fries. They even have a little outdoor patio with a couple of tables and speakers playing the audio of whatever game. So you can smoke a cigarette and still be tuned in.
The only down side is that they close pretty early on weekdays AND weekends :(.
This place may have the best wings in town. Sadly they are so good that I have not tried anything else. Great place to watch a game. The only thing that sucks is that this place is kind of hidden so it took me 4 years to figure out it was there. I wish I had known sooner because now I go all the time for the wings.
Review Source:This place is definitely a great place to hang out with your friends and watch a game or two. Â The sports fans definitely get into the games and add a little excitement to the restaurant.
The food is decent at best. Â From the wings, to the burgers and sandwiches, to the fish and chips, to the pulled pork - they were all ok (not great, and not bad). Â There have been times when we've had to return food since it was cold, and there have been times when the waitress got our order wrong. Â Overall, the food and service are mediocre.
I have to update this to a five star place.  At first, I only came to eat at the restaurant but now I've been catering from here as well.  Their fajitas are DA BOMB!!!!!!  Their pico de gallo is so fresh and people request the fajitas over and over again.  Alot of options for catering and my clients love it every time.  The fresh baked cookies literally melt in your mouth  - their doughy and gooey.  All that's missing is a glass of milk!!!  Great food, consistently - and always on time.  Makes me happy!
Review Source:I would give this place 3 1/2 stars, if possible. Â This is a neighborhood joint with great wings (theyre grilled instead of fried.) Â The bar itself has a lot of charm - not what you would expect from a suburban stripmall.
The bad thing about this place is that its small so space is limited. Â I went in about 40 minutes before the heat game started the other day and almost all the tables were already reserved or taken.
If you're in the mood for a locals bar and want to eat some wings, its worth checking out.
Went on last Thursday to meet up with friends for some karaoke! It was awesome! The place is quaint and the servers were nice. The food was AWESOME!! Totally didn't expect the food to make such a good impression since it is bar food but it was GREAT! Free karaoke and ladies drink free until 11pm I believe, how much better can you get! I had such a blast! I highly recommend! I will give it five stars after I go back again and have more food from the menu =)
Review Source:Some of the members of Yelp, slammed this place pretty hard and some really loved this place. So, with nothing to do I went here for some beers and pub food, to see if its that bad.
Well to start off the bartender was disengaging , She looked young enough to be at home playing with her Barbies! But, it shouldn't be a factor. I ordered the Yuengling and the fish sliders, and sunk into the vibe, or tried too! With only 8 people in here, it's hard to vibe in. Â however, I kinda still liked the place. Not crowded, not overly loud, it had a good sports bar vibe, just with no people.
After looking at this place, I wonder how it stays afloat since I'm customer number 8. But my slides arrived, and the three sliders were good and so were the fries. But, looking at the person sitting at the bar a few stools down got the chicken wings, and they looked very good, you know those times when you say I should have ordered that! Well, I should have ordered that.
To be honest the only thing that keeps me from giving it 4 stars is the fact that nobody was there, I had no one to talk to. The bartender was eeehhhh, there, not really a person you could hold a three minute conversation with. Also the Village Tavern lacks that signature item. The place was good, so are others.
I envy Vivian L. right now, I wanted those chicken wings.
I rarely leave my four block enclave in Brickell. Â So when I met up with a friend in South Miami after some doctor appointments, I said "show me the town" and this is where he took me. Â
The Village Tavern is just my kind of bar: wood tables and long wooden bar. Â The kind of place where you can go with your softball team after a game or meet up with friends to watch the games on TV. Â On a Saturday they were offering bucket specials of Miller Lite or Coors Lite. Â not a fan of either, my friend and I stuck to pitchers of Stella. Â I looooove places where you can order PITCHERS of draft beer. Â The menu offered traditional bar fare including an extensive selection of sliders. Â It was a tough choice but we ordered the wings tossed in the traditional hot sauce. Â YUMM!!!
I definitely want to come back next time I'm in the neighborhood!!!
This is a quaint little bar in kings creek. Did i mention the food here is amazing! Not only do the have the best wings in town (yes my opinion, they are grilled so somewhat healthy) but the burgers cheese steaks, everything!
THe Nachos are actually made with real chicken breast not chicken in a can like ale house. they have good beer selection, with good prices. Saturdays have live music, thursday karaoke, and i beleive wednesday is poker. Also on mondays 790 the ticket broadcasts live from there, so u can watch all the football games too
The Tavern is located in a residential neighboorhood in the small Kings Creek shopping center. Â It is an upscale family restaurant/bar with lots of flat screen tv's and the NFL ticket although there were few people in there who looked like they were really interested in watching football. Â They have a pretty extensive menu although I did not try the food. Â They do have a pretty good selection of beers including Yuengling and Presidente on draft. Â I guess this place would be ok if you lived in the near by and could walk over there, but I would not go out of my way.
