Had a wonderful meal and enjoyable evening. Â I had the swordfish special, very good. My daughter had the seared scallops which were wonderful. Â We had the stuffed artichoke appetizer which was out of this world. Â The service was wonderful. Both the waitress and the hostess were very attentive.
Review Source:Went here for Mother's day with my family with high hopes. This place is a local http://relic.It needs serious updating and cleaning. Right off the bat; The smell. It smells like old people and fake plants.{A word to the owner: Get rid of the fake grapes and plants-they collect dust and dust smells bad), We were seated toward the back of the restaurant. We sat at the round booth and had to sit strategically as to not sink down. This seating needs to be re-stuffed or replaced, very uncomfortable. The waitress wes very pleasant, attentive and an asset to the restaurant, however, she thought that "warming up" the coffee meant taking it out back and microwaving it! (We thought this was cute, she just needs more training), Everything on the special menu was overpriced (We were told on the phone that there was an open menu for Mother's day),The cheapest dish was around $17.00 for a pasta dish with no salad included! meals went all the way up to $30.00!! I ordered the chicken picata. There was only 3 peices of tenderloin on the plate, They use jumbo capers (why?) and it was obvious from tasting it that the entire jar of capers juice and all was dumped on my one dish of picata- so salty I could not finish it, also the wine was not reduced enough. there were no small meal options for my kids(Just old enough to miss the kids menu choices) so the bill was huge, and I didn't even order a glass of wine. The other dishes were http://o.k.it is hard to mess up chicken parm after all, and they do give you a lot of food. In today's economy I would recommend cutting back on the portion sizes and presenting the customers with reasonably priced dishes and INCLUDE a salad! One good note was the desserts, however, our apple crostada crust was a little undercooked. If a restaurant charges a lot because they think they are gourmet, I believe they need to go all out: appearance, updated menu, attention to detail and give people something for their hard earned $$. Vin and Eddie's did not come through.
Review Source:We came here for my cousin's birthday. There were about 10 of us, so we sat towards the back of the restaurant at a larger table. The restaurant is considers themselves to be more 'upscale' and I'll admit, probably wasn't a good choice for our group of people (we're fun, loud, and sometimes we cause a scene). The service was alright, not spectacular, not spot on. There were a few times we had had to ask multiple times for things like bread, drinks, etc. A member of our party had to wait longer for their food and it's so weird when stuff like that happens because you're sitting there debating on whether you should eat while they sit there or be respectful and wait and let your food get cold.
The manager was coming around and asking other tables how their food was, welp... it's a good thing that she got caught up in a conversation at the table right before ours because I think she would have heard an earful from my cousins about how it was so bad.
