Waffle & Steak Restaurant

I spent a lot of time here in my high school years and I remember e food always being cheap and tasty. The pecan waffle was always my favorite and they keep the coffee coming. I would especially like it when one of the lights on the sign was out and we could go dine at Affle & Steak or Waffle & Teak

Waffle & Steak, or Waffle House as it's known to us non-native Hoosiers, is always a treat.  Fresh, hot coffee.  Eggs cooked perfectly.  Hash browns any way you want them.  Not healthy food, but good, fast, and plentiful.  I like just saddling up to the bar and watching the short-order cook work their magic as the waitresses simply call out the orders.  I'm probably romanticizing this a bit, but the way the workers instantly go back and forth between acrimony and affection could inspire a sit-com.  Like a slightly dysfunctional family with a side of hash browns.
