I'm just so use to a large and more filling breakfast. It wasn't bad, maybe it was too early for fancy food. I'd prefer to see a bunch of eggs, pancakes, bacon, and sausage all squeezed on one plate. Plus every item of food was sold seperately, nothing sold together, and at a pricey price. Like 4 bucks per side. Got to Hollywood Breakfast on Ashland and I think Division. Order the 2,2,2,2. Waayyyyyyyy better.
Review Source:As a business establishment, it's just quite hilarious to see how they fumble with the register and then give me the wrong tab. I paid but didn't realize the meal was cheap, then I went back to my seat and realized I was undercharged. On my way out, we mentioned to them (with money ready to pay) that there's a mistake with the bill. Â They didn't feel bad about charging me nor was there an apology. I was undercharged by about $13-4.
The minute I walked in, I notified them I have two more people in the party coming since they're parking. They refused to seat me and they seated the party of four who was after me. Then when my friends came, we had to stand there like idiots to get someone's attention.
Seems like I forgot to mention how the food was (in addition to being seated by the bathroom, it definitely ruined my appetite). Mine was mediocre. I don't get why such items are on the menu when there's no confidence to make it good?
The rest of the party enjoyed their food (just not the hot watermelon slices).
We also ordered the hot chocolate and it was pretty decent. There were three different flavored shots total (peppermint, caramel, and dark). Pretty much overcharged in my opinion (isn't that the life of eating out?). I have to say, the hot chocolate was the best part of my meal though.
I just felt quite uncomfortable due to the lack of back rest (they're all benches and I thought I saw a few tables with chairs... but I might be wrong.

I must add that I came in here once before but gave up on this place due to the long line. There was an estimated 45 minutes wait on a Sunday morning since we arrived around noon. It also happened to be the coldest day in February as well. Quite disappointed. Since we were so foreign to this place, we went into the "exit/ carry out" end so we had to walk all the way to the actual entrance.
This place really has the guts to try picnic benches in downtown. Thanks for tuning in to my picky review.
Our dinner began with a small, limp salad dressed in a reviling vinaigrette. Next came our entrees: eggplant curry and the shortrib number. The curry was garbage, absolutely tasteless. Essentially, pieces of eggplant and red pepper tossed into a brown soup that resembled real curry in color only. The waffles paired with the shortribs were dry and tasted like sand. Â For desert, avoid the hot chocolate flight!
In fact, avoid altogether.
