Ikebukuro Sushi

I know - sushi in Chinatown?  I was skeptical at first but after meeting my cousin here I will say yes you can get good sushi in Chinatown. The owners are super friendly and the prices are solid.  the only down side is there isn't a ton of variety.  Overall I recommend this place if you are in Chinatown and looking to satisfy your sushi fix.

Yes, this small joint is as good as it gets. The owners  are the best, super friendly and super sweet. The soy sauce is very salty however the prices make up for this tiny detail. You must check it out! :D

Hands down, this is the worst sushi I have ever had in my life. I should have known better than to order raw fish from an underground food court in the nasty cesspool of filth that is Chinatown Chicago. I ate a few bites then threw it out. It smelled like it was sprayed with antiseptic cleaner. I spent the rest of that day fearing I'd get food poisoning. Luckily I did not but this place is truly disgusting.
