solid cantonese food. most of the staff here migrated to chi cafe years ago. they basically have the same menu and quality. good cantonese, but i'd rather hit up chi nowadays.

Went here late last night with some friends. Bad food.

My friend asked the waiter for a good chicken dish, and the waiter suggested the General Tsao's chicken. That was weird to me but whatever we went with it.

We also had the combination fried rice and some bubble teas. Combo fried rice was just bad. You expect to at least sorta kinda enjoy any friend rice but this set a new low.

Bubble teas were nothing to write home about. Much better bubble tea at Joy Yee's.

The General Tsao's chicken tasted like fried chicken slathered in maple syrup. Very very bad.

If' you are going to chinatown, go to Lao Sze Chuan or Lao Beijing. Avoid this place.

The food here is pretty good for the most part. I use to come here a lot before, but this was my first time back here in almost a year. This place remodeled a while back and it still looks fairly nice inside. Our server was okay, but could have been better. He wasn't as attentive as he could have been and sometimes we would have to get his attention even though it wasn't too busy.

All the food that we tried here is pretty good. My favorite dish is the Sizzling Beef Tenderloin in Black Pepper Sauce. I have always ordered this dish here because they make it the best, but the size of this has noticeably gone down. Other things to try are Japanese Tofu with Watercress or King Mushroom, and Fish Fillet in Spicy Thai Sauce or Sweet Saki. The drinks here are pretty good. My favorite drink is the Green Apple Green Tea.

I wish this place has a lunch special or happy hour during lunch. They use to have this before they remodeled, but when I went back I didn't see this anywhere on the menu. It used to be on their wall and they have a few variety to choose from. That is why I find myself going to Chi Cafe or St. Alps because they have happy hours there for lunch.
