I spent the evening of the Chinese New Year (Year of the Snake) having dinner at Lee Wing Wah with Christopher and some very dear friends. It was a wonderful party atmosphere. Our friend Sonny ordered for all of us and we ended up with 7 entrees and soup.

Our entrees included Salt and Pepper Squid and Shrimp, Sechuan String Beans, a fish and eggplant dish, sweet and sour ribs, and several other items. Everything was quite good and the potions were huge. We all took home leftovers.

Perhaps the most enjoyable part for me was when the Lion Dancers came through the restaurant doing the lion dance. At the end of the dance, one of the lions climbed up on a table, devoured a whole head of lettuce and sent the shredded lettuce flying out over all the tables. It was really cool.

This was a night I will never forget. Great food, great company and a true feeling of being part of all the festivities. Best part ... we had our evil spirits driven away for the next year!

The shrimp dishes and lobster dishes are excellent and we'll priced!  Can't wait to go back!
We ordered seven dishes plus a really good curb chicken soup for five people and we had food for the next day.

Came here with my family for dinner. Left with boxes of leftovers after we ordered a dinner for six. There was just way too much food, even with my brother there (he's fat). What was cool, though, was that we received all six of our dishes within ten minutes. That was crazy fast.

The food was mostly great, but there were a few dishes that felt like a miss. Save the mapo tofu for Lao Sze Chaun down the road. This chicken dish (not sure what it was called, but it was literally just chicken. Plain. Nothing else, not even garnishes) was good, but in a very straight way, as if that's how chicken is supposed to taste. Flavorful, but ultimately uninteresting. It was really weird, and the dish remained largely untouched, so I'm planning on just using the leftovers for chicken fried rice or something.

The standouts were the chow mein and fish fillets. The fish was delicious and melted in your mouth. I'd order it every time I came here. The mein was great, but not too different from similar dishes at other restaurants. It's just a generally good dish that's hard to fuck up.

To sum up, Lee Wing Wah serves a ton of food, especially given how much you pay. Other than a couple of great dishes, though, the food is mostly forgettable. This place is definitely one of the best for large groups, but there are other options in Chinatown to consider first.
