This place looks JUST like Chi Cafe down the street, from the layout of the room to the hours to the super well hidden pull-out drawer of utensils at each booth. So don't get the two confused!
Chi Cafe does not have a bakery if I recall correctly, and Sweet Station does. Sweet Station also has unlimited hot pot for around $17 and can be ordered individually - as in, not your whole party has to participate, which is nice. There's a nice variety of different meats and veggies to choose from, plus some appetizers like dumplings and shumai. A good deal, definitely. I love hotpot.
As far as other foods go, I get the two mixed up often. Sweet Station is good. Their roast meats are not quite the caliber of those from more authentic places, but you can't beat the price. And the significantly better dining environment. As a whole, I think the menu makes the food look a lot better than it is - it's probably cheap slightly above average Chinese-American for the most part, but it's definitely worth a try.
3.5 stars.
