Triad Sushi Lounge

Went here for the third time with a friend on a groupon. This place always has groupons and I love it. Best price to quality ratio for a sushi restaurant.
They were just as good as the last time I was there and it's always nice to see consistency from a restaurant.

I purchased a Groupon for this joint and decided to bring a sexy date to make an evening out of it! We arrived around 815 (with reservations) but didn't seem to be needed with all the empty tables... It was a quaint spot, dim lighting, simple décor with a small open-faced sushi bar. Couple of little coves where private dinners could be held, small parties as well..

Server was named Danny, she was such a sweetheart to us, suggested the Lychee (LEE-chee) martini. AMAZING So light, crisp to a perfect martini balance garnished with three little Lychee fruits on sword.. yeah, we had about three each!

Continuing on to appetizers, We ordered Shrimp Tempura which was great but not a lot of it, more fried veggies paired with the shrimp than the seafood itself.. The edamame was lightly seasoned with salt and heated.

Entrees, My date and I decided to throw it in Danny's hands and have her bring out 4-variety Maki Rolls.. AMAZING CHOICES!! She gave us a great variety to taste from.. All Around GREAT experience, drop Danny's name, she'll take great care of you!!!

I love the atmosphere; plenty of vegan options, and they will make maki rolls not on their menu if you just request. They have a good drink menu too. I just don't like that it's always kind of cold inside, and the music sucks...oh, and the service is a little bit slow.
