I have lived in Bridgeport all my life and Ricobene's was always a favorite, but times have changed the service is horrible.  I thought it was just when picking up but NO it's worse when you order for delivery.  I ordered twice in a month and the first incident they forget part of the order.  When I called and asked to speak with a manager, it was unbelievable the manager answered the phone without giving their name.  I had to ask if the person I was speaking to was a manager and had to request her name.  Gina was the manager, she did not apologize for the mistake and I had to request that my missing items be sent which took an additional hour.  I tried to believe that this was an isolated incident unfortunately, no  I ordered again last week for delivery and the order took one hour and forty-five minutes, I called to check three times and was told that my food had been waiting for a driver to deliver it.  I asked as a concern that the food would be cold and not up to par considering it was sitting so long.  I was told no, Wrong the food finally arrived and the chicken sandwiches were soggy and the cheese pizza puff was stick to the paper from sitting so long and the fries were hard.  I called and asked again for a manager and again Gina was the manager on staff.  She said that they would resend out the order quickly and that it would arrive shortly.  As a manager, Gina should have made sure that the food went out ASAP it took an additional hour and only part of my family ate together.  The owners really need to take a look at their business.
Review Source:The most overlooked and hidden gem of this place is the pizza. They always have phenomenal concoctions. My fiancée brought me home a slice (well, half a slice, it's a long ride) of lasagna pizza yesterday. It's heavenly. I usually have pretty strong willpower but it seems like every time my choices are eat ricobenes or abstain from ricobenes I usually give in and gorge myself.
The pizzas are displayed for you to drool over, making choosing hard. Hence we usually end up with several different kinds. And empty plates.
The beef is excellent, the steak sandwich is good but its like 3rd on my list so I rarely get it. The fries are soooooo good. And one time I got the antipasti salad (oh I don't know why don't ask) and that's delicious as well.
A destination if you ask me. If I didn't live 20ish miles away I think it might be a more serious problem for me. Such a treat.
