This place is a great dive bar off the beaten path. You can still smoke in here so that may be off putting to some but to me it is what can help make a dive bar. I went for a concert on a Thursday night and had a good time. You have the ability to get within mere inches of the performers so it can be quite loud but intimate at the same time. The drawbacks are the inexperienced or just lazy bartenders and the narrow corridor you have to traverse to get to the bathrooms but, for a close encounter with one of my favorite bands it was worth it. The bar is pretty basic and doesn't have anything fancy but it gets the job done.
