This place has the closest to actual Thai food that I've had in South Bend. Â Service is fast and nice. Â They have Singha beer, check plus.
In comparison to Cambodian Thai, this place is a lot better. Â Cambodian thai uses the wrong peppers (habanero) and doesn't add a whole lot of vegetables to its dishes. Â The curry here is the right thickness and spiciness. Â All very good things.
The decor is way to funny to pass up--it was a hilarious experience (it looks like a fifties diner on the outside, and a southern buffet restaurant on the inside....only with large oriental fans on the walls) with surprisingly good food!
Drunken noodles were delicious, edemame are always a win for me. Wasnt so crazy about the curry.
Ok, I have been back here a few times. Â The atmosphere is decent and the food is respectable, though not stupendous. Â So my rating is now three instead of two stars. It is good enough to treat first timers to Thai cuisine for a good price. Â But for those already inducted to the Thai Lovers Club, this will not quite fill the bill.
