Allie's Cafe is a great neighborhood restaurant with a friendly staff, outstanding service and very reasonably priced food. Â
Great breakfast menu with old-time favorites mixed in with a few unique dishes. Â Portions are huge and can easily feed two adults. Â A few of our favorites include the eggs benedict, hashbrown casserole and Allie's scrambler. Â Your mis-matched coffee mug will never go empty. Â Kid-friendly, relaxing environment with lots of regulars.
I've never been to the restaurant, but I've had their catering at Saints Peter and Paul church a couple of times and both times were terrible. Â The food is mediocre. Â Pasta salad doused in Italian dressing. Â Sloppy potato salad. Â Burgers sitting in oil. Â The kind of burger and hot dog buns you'd find at the dollar store. Â The tomatoes were pink/white and mealy, which is unacceptable considering the abundance of homegrown veggies in the Summer. Â They need a lesson in what good food is and what should be served to guests at a special event.
