Very good food!  Yummy bacon, excellent pancakes and hashbrowns, awesome omelet and cheeseburgers - just very good all around!

Portions more than enough and price average.

This place was totally gutted and redone sometime in the last year or so and it is really nice now.  Cash only and very small inside restaurant with mostly counter seating.

We will definitely be going again!

Huge disappointment.  Not open 24 hours anymore.  The personality of Fat Shirley's has been completely eradicated.  Cheaply remodeled, with that "down in Bremen" feel.  Filled with folk art you'd see in a Wanatah rec room.  Low quality food, mediocre preparation,.  They'll probably be very popular around here.

Wonderful greasy spoon in the former White House Building a.k.a. Fat Shirleys.  The new owners have completely remodeled the place.  The food is good, the coffee is hot and strong, and the diner is a fun place to grab a meal.  My only tiny gripe is the service can get a bit slow... In their defense, they were completely full when i was there.  All in all, try them out.  Best part is they have smaller portion options for some menu items.  Perfect for the guy or gal watching his or her waistline...
