Main Street Coffee House

I was there this last week for an evening event where there was musical entertainment. This is a nice place and I liked the atmosphere. Because it was cold outside I was looking forward to ordering a hot sandwich or bowl of soup. I was disappointed because every item I asked for wasn't available. I eventually just ordered coffee and a dessert. But, you could have made more money if you'd had hot foods available. Others behind me were disappointed as well.

This is a cozy little cafe in Downtown South Bend, perfect for studying, with ample space and seating and free wifi.  It's not usually that crowded so it's a really relaxed environment.

I've come here on many a studying outing, and always get a lot done.  

Prices are fairly reasonable, and I like the coffee, as well as the food options I've tried.  They have pretty much the standard menu selection, including sandwiches, pastries, and soups.  And I absolutely love the 'Stay Awhile Coffee' option, which lets you get unlimited refills of coffee for a very reasonable price, as someone else mentioned.  

It's also open until late on saturdays!

Loved the vibe and the location.  Had the breakfast enchilada and loved it!  Good coffee and hot chocolate.
