Extremely disappointed with this wine bar. Â I was expecting such spectacular service and great selection of wine, however, I received the complete opposite. Wine selection is OK but the service, disgraceful. Â I was the only person at the wine bar and it still took almost 10 mins to have my glass of wine poured by the most unfriendly staff I have come in counter with. Â Not one word was spoken to me after my pour, no "how do you like your wine, would you like anything else". Â I will never return to this so called "gem" again.
Review Source:Wow, i never knew this existed in Reno, boy am i sure glad my dad and i stumbled upon this place. The neighborhood around here is actually pretty nice, it seems like a local hang out. I didn't get a chance to eat while i was drinking here, but the bar connects to "The Bowl" which looks amazing, and it also connects to a Greek place in the back. There is an awesome outside courtyard area with a fire pit and music blaring. I totally dig this place and will definitely return the next time i am in Reno! Woohoo, Reno is stepping things up!
Review Source:The service is well versed in the daily offerings, sometimes pretentious but never rude. Â Wines are focused, unique and not typically available at most wine shops. Â The location is great, ideally situated near the river and adjacent to plenty of nightlife and restaurants. Â Being able to order a meal at Bowl and drink wines from West Street Wine Bar is a great way to share the local business love. Â My biggest gripe is that you have to order wines from the bar even if you are sitting at a table because the bar is usually staffed by one person.
