Yeah! This place is fun and good.
Love happy hour here. $5 will get you your choice of 4 wines or a variety of small plates. Â I've tried all the small plates on the HH menu and the best selections are the bruschetta (historically I will pass on bread, but this one is great), the hummus trio, and the Juliette flatbread (with pears and garlic cream). Â
Also the Mediterranean popcorn is delightful and a fun snack, although not on the HH menu, the popcorn is $4.50 all the time.
I look forward to eating entrees as well. See you there soon.
We love the Wine Bistro location on north High Street so we thought we would try this new location. The food was great, you can't beat the prices especially if you go on Monday or Tuesday night when there is no corkage fee. The service was excellent as well. Plenty of staff on duty who were very friendly and attentive. We will definitely be going back.
Review Source:The Wine Bistro is a newcomer to the Clintonville scene. Â It's in an all-new location next door to the bank. Â There is parking behind the building. Â Inside it's all dark wood and crystal. Â While I was there there were a half-dozen tables eating and drinking. Â And there are plenty of staff greeting visitors and seating them. Â One thing I didn't see was the automatic wine chiller but I'm sure they have one. Â All-in-all a nice place to visit.
Review Source:Wine and appetizers, at the bar, with my husband, the first week they opened. Â We loved it, we had $5 HH house reds, a mini fondue trio, and a great salad. Â Of course, I reserve the right to re-review after our next time, but as a starter we were impressed. Â The location is odd, but there is a lot of off street parking and the the interior is warm and inviting. Â I encourage Clintonvillers, Beechwolders UA'ers and anyone else to try out the new place in the 'Ville.
