This location has changed from Wild Wing Cafe to The Wing Cafe & Tap House. I was hopeful for some improvements with the switch, but it's still the same old wing spot, with a few changes to the menu. I had come with a birthday party, so we had about 10 people at the table. The waitress brought me water at first since I didn't know what I wanted, but it took me FOREVER to get her attention again to get an actual drink, which was really annoying (the service used to be much better at least).

They still have the 2 for $10 Irish Car Bombs deal, which is why we always kept coming back, so I'm glad they kept that. The menu seemed to have expanded. We got the Giant German Sticks with mustard to start, and those were tasty. For my entree, I got the Turkey Club Wrap with the Black & White soup on the side. The photo in the menu looked really good so I had to try the soup. Please. PLEASE don't order it. I don't know why it's advertised as soup. It's queso with black beans in it, and once you stir it up it looks like puke. I took a couple bites and couldn't take it anymore, but it was better with a chip dipped in it (it is queso after all). The turkey club wrap was decent in itself, but it's hard to mess that up.

I hear that the wings are still tasty, and the beer I had was still ice cold. So, if you want wings specials and beer, I say this is a great place to go. Other things on the menu I would still be vary of. Hopefully the service will improve (or at least that server).

I love the wing! The best hang out spot. Make sure Either Emily or Jessica is your server. Such a welcoming and cozy environment! One place I will never stop going.

My wife and I ate at this location when it was Wild Wings at least once a week for years, it was one of our favorites.   Since the change over to The Wing the place has changed.  The menu has expanded, however, not for the better.  Many of our favorites are gone and honestly what we ate on two occasions tasted like warmed over food with no taste.  I use to brag about this place but not any longer.  Count us as ex customers.

Been going to this bar for years. I love their selection of beers and their bartender's knowledge of beers. They always remember your drink, face, and name and will greet you with a smile and a handshake. Love this bar. Special thanks to Tory, Cory, Amanda, Brian, Lee, Kyle, April, Christian, and for Harry who cooks my food.

i didn't even know this place was back here. Ive just moved to the area and Ive been in that shopping center a few times. we were looking for the Thai place and saw this and decided to try it out, it was a Tuesday and it happened to be buy 1 get the other half of wings free. so we ordered 10 and got 10 free, beers were good price and the wings were good, i had the spicy garlic but it wasn't spicy at all. good flavors, looks like it'll be our new weekend bar spot.

The food here is great, and so far I am enjoying the change over to The Wing and Tap house. They now have great new menu items (Fried pepper jack mac & cheese anyone?), and their wing sauces don't make it difficult to decipher the old recipes I loved. The atmosphere here can be good; however, game nights can become a bit insane with extremely loud middle aged men way to angry over a (insert some type of ball game).

For anyone who hasn't tried the new menu, I urge you to do so! You'll be surprised to find that many of the menu items haven't changed much, and the things they've added are pretty dang awesome.

Also, the only reason I'm giving this a 4/5 stars and not 5/5 is because of their porch area. As a recently non-smoker I'd like to sit on the back porch and enjoy the weather while I eat wings and drink beer, and not have to breath in second hand smoke.

Forgot to review this place last month. I've been here when it was a Wild Wing maybe a decade ago and wasn't very impressed, but a friend wanted to meet here for a beer or two so I said hell with it and drove over after work on a Saturday night, expecting a huge crowd. It's nestled in the corner of the Provisions (I think it's called) strip center off Roswell Road Marietta, easy to find the center but you'll have to dig a little more to find the building, it's tucked in behind a few places but once there you'll see it. Plenty of parking, even on a busy night I got in the first row closest the building, so that's a plus.
Inside it's a big place, and although it was indeed busy there's so much room we easily got a table without any wait at all. There's a bar in the center, what looks like another one off in a big room on the left, and another bar outside on the right of the building. It was about 10:45pm so not insane, but pretty loud with TVs going everywhere, not the best place if you're looking to talk to anyone. Draft list is good with a few surprises, and the bottle list is even better, though the prices were varied heavily, some stuff in bottle that was priced cheaper than a package store, while other way higher. Draft prices too seemed skewed, like the markup was based on demand and not an actual price point. Not to complain, I got a 750mL bottle of Ommegang Seduction for $13 where my store sells it retail for $13.29, not going to complain. Two beers I ordered were not available, but I easily found others to replace them. Had a few beers then ordered food, I got the philly steak and although it was good, it was only a 6", I assumed it'd be a foot long for the price. No matter, it was good.
Service was pretty good too, the girl was young and seemed tired but kept up with us pretty well for her condition. Polite and easy to work with. Not a bad experience overall, will definitely go back to try more menu options soon.

Restaurant makeover would have a field day with the Wing.  The food is pretty good,  the wings are cooked well and the beer is cold so probably I could just stop the review right there..... but I like to talk mean about other people so I will continue. As for the decor.... what are you going for man a tropical paradise, a dive bar, or a pub?  I mean it looks like the owner went buck wild at the Dollar Store thinking "yeah this pink flamingo that is what people want to eat next to. I will put it right next to the shamrock beer ad from 2010." Anyway I go to restaurants to eat not to look at their crap on the wall so if you are looking for wings in Marietta go here.

First off, I have NEVER been to Wild Wings so my review will be purely based on the new name, The Wing Cafe & Tap House. My friend was really excited to take me the night we went, but little did she know, it wasn't Wild Wings anymore. I guess it was a surprise for both of us driving across town - Stone Mountain/ Doraville location for both of us.

A lot of ads outside for beer and food items as you enter. Decor is very tropical with the palm trees. Staff is very friendly.

    FOOD:
Before we dined, my friend asked if they're still doing the "double your wings for the same price thing." Pretty much, you pay for 6 wings or 12 wings, but they double it. It was a Tuesday night. We ordered wings. The menu is very extensive with soups, salads, flatbreads, sliders, burgers, sandwiches, etc. But we solely came for wings (32 different flavors!). I ordered 3 different flavors: Jamaican, Kentucky Bourbon, and Polynesian. I definitely went outside of what I usually order to try these. They were OKAY. Some of the sauce was very watery. Some of the chicken were dry and hard to chew. Consistency was off. I ordered fries as well and they were plain. I'm not sure how I feel. Definitely better wing places than this one.

Probably will come back if I'm in the area to try different things on the menu, but will not drive here to satisfy cravings for wings.

I have been coming to this place for years and despite the name change the service and atmosphere is still great. It's unfortunate they had to elimainate some wing flavors but the raspberry chipotle BBQ is a great new flavor everyone should try. All the bartenders are great (especially Tory) and so are the servers (especially Tanner). The Wing is one of the best places for eating and drinking in Georgia and it will stay that way for many years to come.

Wild Wing recently changed their name to The Wing Café and Tap House, proving change isn't always a good thing.

When I found out Wild Wing changed their name, I became a psycho ex-girlfriend. I called and hung up. I'd drive by hoping to get a glimpse of the new interior and sign and I needed a paper bag to breath when I found out they changed the wing recipes.

Don't let the promising table tents fool you-everything has changed. Their new sign says: "Same management, same ownership, same staff, improved menu." Are these claims up for argument? Why fix what wasn't broken? I do not understand good restaurants that change anything. If you're making money, have a constant 30-minute wait time and have a popular wing menu, that is your name sake, why change?

Did I mention everything has changed? The new wing flavor names are odd. While some names have stayed the same, the popular flavors all have a new name and a new recipe. We ordered the Cowboy, which is the new name for the Wild West. We also ordered the Italian, which thankfully, was still the same name and an order of fries. We ordered 3 extra blue cheese dressings for the table and 2 sides of ranch. After waiting 20 minutes for a waitress to greet us, we chose an appetizer, in case we were forgotten again; spinach and artichoke dip.

The appetizer came out within 15 minutes. We were given a shallow bowl of cream cheese and spinach bits with stale red and green chips that had to have been left over from the Christmas party-please note, it's almost Memorial Day. What once was a creamy, warm bowl of chunky artichokes, chopped spinach leaves and smooth cheese is now a clumpy bowl of cream cheese with flakes of what I assume was spinach.

The wings came out 10 minutes after the appetizer. When the food runner put the 3 plates down, we all looked at each other with disbelief. They don't even look the same. Several wings were broken, looked retarded or were not even the shape of chicken wings. When did McDonalds start selling their boot nuggets here? Normally, it is easy to tell which flavor is which because you can smell them. I went for what was the Wild West, I mean, the Cowboy and I accidentally grabbed an Italian. The Italian had bread crumbs on it and a weird ketchup consistency. After 1 bite I put it down. I grabbed for a fry and almost screamed-they changed the fries. I began to feel like the walls were closing around me. I reached for a small container of blue cheese and that's when it hit me. Improve your menu, change the staff, change management but don't you DARE change the blue cheese! This soupy cup of white froth made me wonder if this was someone's happy ending as this dining experience had become my version of hell. All 3 containers smelled like garlic. I grabbed a container of ranch and it was just as watery but with random pepper flakes. Both dressings had zero flavor. I didn't know if I should lay hands on the cooking crew and pray but I was immediately heart broken.

I have so many wonderful memories of this place. I have been getting drunk here since I was 16. I had my first crawfish here. I was sexually harassed for the first time here. I met my first one night stand here. I had every belated Birthday party here. I have sang on the stage out of key here. I threw up on the shuffle board table and was still served more alcohol here. I received my first public urination warning from Cobb County Police here. Was what Wild Wing once was a figment of my imagination? Did I imagine delicious food, staff that was like my 2nd family, blue cheese I wanted to use as lotion and wings that I spoke to strangers about like I was a televangelist, all a dream?

RIP Wild Wing. I will miss you more than you know. I will never forget what you were once were and what we once had.

(Formerly Wild Wing Cafe) My main beef with this restaurant is their pain-in-the-butt "policy", which is not on the menu BTW, of not letting you order multiple orders of 6 wings. I wanted 6 of type A and six of type B, but my server would not let me order that way. She forced me to order 10 and split it into 5 of A and 5 of B. Well guess what, that's only 10 wings y'all. Apparently they will only serve a person 6, 10, or 20 wings. You can't get 12 all to yourself, even though you could order 6 and the person sitting across from you could order 6 according to their wackadoodle "policy."  I'm a reasonable person, and this place made it unnecessarily difficult to enjoy eating there.

I went here (OTP), for a friends' gathering. No reason to make the drive back when there are so many good, not crack-smoking, wing places in the city.

This place used to be Wild Wing Cafe, and now they are their own, not part of the chain.  This means new menus, flavors, and some adaptation.  I always enjoyed Wild Wing Cafe, and we were a little sad to find out that our flavors were going away and/or changing, but the staff is well-trained on how to help you navigate the new menu and find what you are used to flavor-wise.  The menu does need to be re-done, as for weaklings like myself who do not like very hot flavors, the new menu does not have a hot/spicy indicator like it used to, so make sure to ask if you want to avoid or indulge in their hot items and flavors.

The place is still super busy, loud, popular, and has the same feel and special events as before.  I understand that they have weekly specials too, which bring a lot of people in, but I am not sure what they are, but plan on checking in on it. They often have live bands, fun outdoor seating, and can be a great venue if you like sports too, or just want to share a big meal with a lot of friends and family, as that is the best way to sample the flavors.  They also have healthier options, like salads and hummus too, so even vegetarians have some options.   Definitely ask your server for advice in wing flavor selection, and I recommend getting Vinson/Vinnie as your server if you can.

Wow, I've been going to this location a couple of times a month for years. They were my favorite place for wings. Went there a few weeks ago and was surprised to see they'd changed from Wild Wings to The Wing Cafe. No problem, server assured me same great food just different names. I get it, this location kicks butt and who needs to pay franchise fees. Wrong- most of my favorite flavors are gone and the replacements are poor imitations. The thick and chunky blue cheese on the side is now a milky, watery goo. Celery like twigs. Wings seemed skinnier. Wife's salad no longer includes shrimp. Tried them again tonight, something is definitely different and not just the name change. New suppliers, recipes, whatever, the food has lost it's mojo. Feels like a good friend has moved away. If you're  a manager or owner please start tweaking. I'll give you another shot but I need my flaming parmesan, Wild West and jalapeño cheddar or something comparable. The new sauces are not happening. Help a brother out!
