Yee Kee is full of Chinese guys at lunch and almost all of them are having the "soft noodle soup", which is pretty much the Chinese take on chicken noodle soup. It's obviously popular, so I tried it a couple of times. It's an enormous portion of soup - too much for me - so I moved back to the regular menu.
Fresh ingredients well cooked. They capture "the taste of the wok" quickly cooking the food in very hot well seasoned woks. There's almost a caramelized flavor that's missing from lesser Chinese cooking.
My usual is Cashew Chicken - a trivial dish - chicken, cashews, celery, carrots, and a  few other veggies. Something this simple has to be cooked well to impress.
Yee Kee is a mom & pop carry out place with a dozen tables. The owners are attentive and they'll remember you after two visits. Yee Kee is cash only.
