Yodler Restaurant

Went for lunch on a Thursday around 2:30 pm after a hike to Rainbow Falls. The place was very slow at this time, yet it took over 45 minutes for us to get our food. We paid $14 for my very average burger which was not served as requested (no dressing). The salad was not as described on the menu and none of the food was very good. Add to that the slow service, high prices and limited menu choices, I do not recommend for any meal. It might be ok to stop in for a beer.

How about Zero stars because that is what I'd give the ol' Yodler.  They cannot for the life of them figure out how to cook a few hamburgers and hot dogs on the deck.

We ordered and waited and waited and waited for 2 hot dogs and 2 hamburgers.  Forty minutes later we found out that we were still 3rd in line to have our ordered cooked.

The kids couldn't stand it any longer so we had to cancel our order for our $14 hamburgers (each) and leave.

How about throwing more burgers and hot dogs on the grill Yodler and not cook each order one at a time.  You'd burn through a few more burgers but at $14 each you can afford it.

Save your time and money and avoid the Yodler.

We ate a lunch here but as an appetizer we ordered their GIANT pretzel - big mistake!  The pretzel is delicious but it is *huge* and it will fill you up before you get your entree. It comes with two different mustards and a cheese dip - yum yum.  

I ordered the sausage and potato flatbread - it was very good but since I'd eaten the giant pretzel I could not finish my flatbread and ended up taking it home.  My husband ordered one of their hamburgers and it was quite large so again, he could not finish it.

So here is my recommendation: if you order the pretzel, don't bother ordering an entree - the pretzel will fill you up.
