The food is excellent but be patient as it's a one waiter/chef operation at lunch, and they ran out of BREAD at 1 o'clock???? Â Â French staples, i.e. french onion soup & salad, escargot, croque monsieur and quiche are delicious; however, I thought our wine glasses got a short pour compared with other tables. Â Â It's a long wait for the first course and for other courses in between.
The waiter wasn't French, there was quite a ruckus in the kitchen which was audible from the dining area, and spoiled things a bit. Â Not sure what all those people were doing back there since it took so long for the food!
I might try it for dinner, but I heard Rendez-vous on the other side of town is a better choice.
We tried it for dinner last night and enjoyed it. Â My partner had the duck which he said was delicious and I had the quiche Lorraine also good. Â The quiche came with a side salad. Â I would have preferred one with mixed greens with a lighter dressing, but it was okay. Â Forget about ordering the house wine (both white and red). Â Neither one was very good. Â Our waiter was very nice but it did seem that as the place got busier, the staff seemed a bit frazzled.
Review Source:Crap, don't go. Service LOUSY. I inquired how they prepared certain dishes and they were completely off mark. It's obvious they don't know how to properly prepare true French cuisine. We walked out. No one even came to the table to give us water or ask for a drink order for a good 10 minutes. The couple near us had been waiting for their check for 20 minutes. The manager was having a complete meltdown when we walked in and they weren't even busy! Too bad because I really had a long day cooking and was looking forward to someone cooking for ME! Ended up going home and making a wonderful Veal Marsala in about 10 minutes.
